We are located 3 miles from Oakhurst, 11 miles from the south gate of Yosemite National Park, and 4 miles from popular Bass Lake. Perfect for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city or just a stopover on the way to Yosemite.
Located on Lewis Creek at 3000' elevation offers cool summers and mild winters. Listen to the sound of the water from the year-around creek running through the rear of the property or enjoy sipping your evening wine watching the tranquil water flowing downstream. The quiet neighborhood has a private park just 1/2 block away with a waterfall and swimming hole great for children, either 2 or 4-legged, where they can safely experience nature. The accommodations are perfect for two. There is a large bathroom with a claw foot tub, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private patio with a BBQ. There are several restaurants in Oakhurst as well as dining at Bass Lake. You'll have complete access to Lewis Creek to enjoy during your leisure time. The house below is also a BnB. The two houses are completely separate from one another sharing nothing except the entrance to the driveway.

Summary: Easily within striking distance of Yosemite national Park. We biked the valley floor, climbed to the tops of gigantic waterfalls and retreated to Oakhurst to relax and recharge. Cute little cabin, everything we needed was there. In a quiet neighborhood, we never locked the doors and slept with the door by the bed open one night.

Summary: My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our amazing, weeklong stay here! The cottage was just as we had hoped, cozy and comfortable, and convenient to all types activities, with hummingbirds as ‘co-guests’. And with the river running right behind, it could not have been more scenic and peaceful. So many memories from hiking at Yosemite, visiting Bass Lake, and exploring the Madera wine trail. Thanks to our hosts Kadi and her dogs Parker and Lindsay!!!

Summary: This was a gem of a cottage, perfect for 1 or 2 people. Had everything needed for cooking, well stocked with towels, linens, etc. bonus was clawfoot tub, electric fireplace for ambiance and warmth and bedding was soft snd comfy. Excellent service and communication prior and after stay. Little longer of drive to Yosemite entrance than anticipated (1-2 hrs) but was beautiful journey nonetheless. Will stay again without question.

Summary: I cannot say enough about how perfect this little cottage was. The pictures do not do it justice. The hosts went above and beyond with all the little details. They were very responsive and kind. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. The grounds were so beautiful. We loved the swing by the creek. Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Yosemite. We could not give a higher recommendation to this place or the hosts!We would give more stars if we could. Cannot wait to go back one day!!

Summary: We had a great stay at the charming and cozy cottage during our weekend getaway trip in February. With a very serene atmosphere, the place is truly made with love and thoughtful touches throughout, it made us feel home away from home. Locked only 30-20 minutes drive from the Yosemite park South entrance. Overall, we had a fantastic time and hope to return in the future!

Summary: This cabin exceeded all of our expectations, and looked even better in person than online! The location was perfect, very close to the south entrance of Yosemite, and just outside of downtown Oakhurst. The cabin was in pristine condition, and we loved the cupcakes and ambiance when we walked in :). The creek nearby was very scenic as well. Our hosts were very accommodating and communicative. We definitely would recommend a stay here!

Summary: We had an amazing time at our stay. It was a perfect little cabin/cottage for 2 people. We specially loved the river out back and the sweet lady that met one of the days that happen to be the co-owner i think. She was very hospitable and even welcomed us with a plate of homemade cookies and ccandy. Thank you so much for a wondsrful experience on our first time to yosemite.

Summary: My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in this wonderful little cottage! We felt safe and the sound of the river was such a bonus! Thank you for allowing pets too! Our Aussie loved hanging out and watching the plump, gray squirrels! ;) We also enjoyed the drive from your location to Yosemite! Absolutely stunning views! We hope to stay again in the near future!
