Summary: A wonderful experience in the middle of a rural farmer region in Italy, for a peaceful holiday. Close enough to several towns and places that are nice to visit, like Urbino and Pesaro, but a house and garden that are big enough to offer a place to stay for several days in a row without having to leave. Very clean and big house, fully equipped, very nice kitchen near the garden. Shower and beds are fine. Garden offers various spots in both the sun and shadow to relax, read a book, play a game, use the self-made fire/bbq, enjoy the view and sounds of nature. The view is gorgeous and wildlife can be seen. A late afternoon walk out of the small and friendly village offers extra views on wine yards and other beautiful hills.

Summary: If you don't know the "Regione Marche", if you are looking for a sensible touch of serenity and infinity, you've got to know this place. Each stone of the house is an invitation to history and each detail is a witness of the warm and thoughtful welcome of its owners. The garden and the "gazepo" are such a peaceful place to stay that you would nearly forget that fantastic medieval and country sites are waiting for you around. This is the kind of place you would like to share only with your friends as a dear secret to keep it safe. Marie. France

Summary: We’ve had a wonderful vacation, which started in Ca Antonio. As Doris predicted, our children loved the place right from the start. They loved the house, their cosy room, the lovely garden, the spectacular starry nights (and full moon!) and of course all the animals (the cats and friendly dog Kiko). Every night they went to feed the cats. All the people in the village were very friendly, although they found it difficult to understand why we were so enthousiastic about such a remote place (“but there’s nothing here”, as one of the men said to us). Of course we were away a lot, to Urbino, San Marino, the beach, and to all the lovely little villages nearby, but your house was a lovely place to come home to. We lived outside and used only the kitchen below the house, such a nice place to cook. In short: we’ve had a wonderful time. It was very nice that Doris, her mother and one of your daugthers were there to meet us in such a kind and personal way. We felt immediately at home.

Summary: Dear Doris and Andrea, We’re back home, missing Italy terribly. We’re hoping that you received our e-mail which we’ve sent from Italy. We’ve had a wonderful vacation, which started in Ca Antonio. As Doris predicted, our children loved the place right from the start. They loved the house, their cosy room, the lovely garden, the spectacular starry nights (and full moon!) and of course all the animals (the cats and friendly dog Kiko). Every night they went to feed the cats, with the nice Russian lady (from the Oekraïne), who lived and worked temporarily in Ca Antonio as you know. All the people in the village were very friendly, although they found it difficult to understand why we were so enthousiastic about such a remote place (“but there’s nothing here”, as one of the men said to us). Of course we were away a lot, to Urbino, San Marino, the beach, and to all the lovely little villages nearby, but your house was a lovley place to come home to. We lived outside and used only the kitchen below the house, such a nice place to cook. In short: we’ve had a wonderful time. It was very nice that Doris, her mother and one of your daugthers were there to meet us in such a kind and personal way. We felt immediately at home. We can imagine how much you must love this place and how proud you must be of all the work that you have done to make it what it is. We hope that all the animals will survive the winter and that dog Kiko doesn’t miss us too much. Thank you for letting us stay in your house! All the best wishes and kind regards to your family, .

Summary: My husband and and I went to Ca Antonio last September and pretty much talk about it everyday since we have returned. WE LOVE this place and the magical small village that it is in. This is where we finally found relaxation. From our first day we discovered this home to be very clean and so inviting. The rooms are delightful and cozy with all the amenities you need. The beds very comfortable with the masterbedroom offering a nightly viewing from the window of bright stars, full moon and night owls passing by. Incredible. The kitchens ( yes 2 of them) are nicely equipted with everything you need for a simple meal or a big Italian feast. Our favorite is the celler kitchen with offers a perfect cool place to prepare meals throughout the day. Outside is a patio with the perfect table and umbrella to sip espresso and eat fresh yogurt and the sliced figs given to us from the lovely neighbors who are so proud of this abundant fruit from their trees. Ca Antonio was a good base as we traveled to many of the small villages and towns dotting the scenic hills of Le Marche. There are several restaurants and grocery stores not far for shopping or dinner out. One of our favorite activities was exploring the small farmers markets offerend throughout the week bringing home fresh vegies and the best little clams for Pasta con Vongole! I can taste that dish now. So fresh and simple. The heart of true Italian cooking. After walking the local hills and eating our delicious meals we would relax at the Gazebo behind the house and read and take naps. Really is there nothing better? Thanks you again for Ca Antonio. We are true fans and gladly recommend this home away from home as a perfect holiday retreat! The owner is so approacable and will help you with suggestions or questions your may have. Provar piacere di Ca Antonio!

Summary: We spent one week of our honeymoon here at the end of August and are so happy we picked this house. We were looking for something located in a quiet area on the country side, and this was exactly what we were hoping for! The owners were very friendly and helpful. They had picked some of the fresh fruit (plums, figs grapes and tomatoes) from the garden for us, as well as beautiful roses that they had put in our bedroom. The description of the house was accurate, but the pictures does not do the house and surroundings justice. The view from the garden to the green hills is just beautiful! The house is located in a very small village (around 7 other inhabitants), and the neighbors were very friendly and gave us home made wine and tips on good local markets etc. There were chickens, a friendly dog and a very cute kitten! Unfortunately, the roosters woke us up a bit early in the morning so it might be a good idea to bring ear plugs. It is very easy to go on day trips to Urbino, Ancona and San Marino. Sassocorvaro is also a very nice town to visit. We had lovely dinners on the terrace and enjoyed every minute of the time we spent in the house. It was so romantic and relaxing and we hope we can come back one day!
