1 Bedroom Apartment in Baixa, Lisboa

This apartment was completely renovated a few months ago. It has a suite, a living room of 50 m2 with kitchenette, a bathroom and an extra WC. It has a balcony that overlooks Augusta Street which is simply marvellous!

From this balcony we have a privileged view on Chiado and Rua Augusta. It's a 4th floor and there's no elevator.
In the living room there is a double sofa bed and a single bed that can be converted into two single beds, or in one double bed (this bed in German is called Raumsparbett).
The apartment is fully equipped and acomodates 6 people.
Important Rules:
- It's strictly forbidden to make noise after 10 p.m.
- Parties are strictly forbidden
- Check-in is possible from 12 a.m. but please note that when there's someone leaving the apartment the same day, check-in time will always depend on the previous check-out.
- We need about 2-3 hours to prepare the apartment
- Normally is possible to leave the luggage at the apartment on the day you arrive, while the apartment is being prepared for you
- Guest cannot use the apartment neither stay on the apartment while it's being prepared for them
- Check-out is until 12 a.m.
- The following charges are applied for late check-in: 20 euros after 10 p.m. and 30 euros after 12 a.m.
- Late check-out is possible but it must be always arranged directly with me. Charges may be applied
- When it's not possible to have a late checkout, we let the guests leave their luggage on the apartment until as late as possible
- Guests must leave the apartment cleaned and tidy
- Garbage can't be left on the apartment (unless guests leave on a Sunday because garbage is not collected on Sundays)

Summary: This is a great location if you want to spend a few days in Lisbon! Centrally located and within walking distance of some good restaurants and bars. Ester and Miguel are amazing and attentive hosts. They answer any questions within minutes and will give local recommendations. The balcony gives an amazing view of a very popular area in Lisbon. Full disclaimer, it is on the fifth floor with stair access only but if you’re coming to Lisbon, you will be doing a lot of uphill/ downhill walking anyway so it really isn’t all that bad. Would recommend to any friends and family and will look forward to staying here once again in the future.

Summary: We loved this place. It’s in the heart of the city; everything you’d want to see or do is nearby, either walking distance or from the nearby train station. Rua Augusta is special; lively and interesting and beautiful. You’re a five minute stroll from Placa Comercio and the Rio Tejo. And the apartment is lovely. Excellent mattresses, two bathrooms, a great shower, and helpful, pleasant hosts. We will be back!

Summary: Great overall stay. Good amenities. Close proximity to public transportation. Good communication with the owner and property manager. But the stairs are a killer, especially if you have luggage. Narrow, uneven and seemingly endless.

Summary: The host and housekeeper were excellent. Couldn’t have asked for better service. I would rate this place 10 star. Both of us r in our 60’s and the only bad thing about this place r the stairs. If u have a health issue on climbing narrow stairs with ur luggage, this is not the place for u. We had a few bumps but still managed. Thank u for ur outstanding hospitality and awesome location. ♥️👍♥️

Summary: The apartment was perfectly located. we could walk to just about everything. Miguel, our host, provided us with excellent sight seeing adventures as well as restaurants. NOTE: DO NOT park in Baixa-Chiado lot we paid over $300.00 for five days. We were told that it would be $20.00 a day. NOT. . . This was a big disappointment. We would visit Lisbon again!

Summary: Place was nice and right in the heart of a busy area. We were a couple hours behind schedule due to getting lost driving into Lisbon and dealing with traffic. Miguel’s wife waited for us at the apartment which was very nice. Just be prepared for LOTS of stairs to get to the apartment!!
