Summary: We had a wonderful stay in the pool house of a beautiful property in the South Mountain area. This is perfect for a couple, especially those looking to stay in an area away from the city center. Located in a gated community, they offer access to not only their own private pool, but to the community recreation facilities as well. We took walks through the quiet neighborhood and lounged by the pool. The pool house is spacious, immaculate, well appointed, and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are welcoming, accommodating, and available at all times. Highly recommend!

Summary: We enjoyed ourselves very much. Felt very safe and loved the patio and view of the mountain. The neighborhood was very quiet and we enjoyed the community pool. Commication qas top notch. The bed was comfortable and we made numerous meals with what was provided. Just plan forno stove or oven, but has a microwave, outdoor grill and a pot / pan you can steam, boil and stir fry in. The property is as it looks in the pictures.

Summary: Need a weekend getaway and we could not have picked a better place. The location was captivating. The gated community was inspiring with the various architectural styles. The place was very accommodating. The heated pool and jacuzzi! Jill and Carl were absolutely amazing hosts. The fresh ground coffee would put Starbucks and peets to shame. Overall great time. Was so hard to leave. Our new home away from home. Cant wait to return!

Summary: This property is LOVELY! It was exactly what we needed! The property is beautiful, tucked away in a gated neighborhood at the foot of South Mountain. The pool house that we rented is stylish, modern, and perfectly appointed. The bed is comfortable (and I’m super picky about beds), and our grown son slept one night on the futon and said it was “fire” (translated, “perfectly comfy”) The whole place just makes you feel good. You step right out of the door into the pool area which is also lovely. Lots of places to lounge, grill, and relax. But the piece de resistance is the observation deck on top of the pool house! We watched some stunning sunrises and sunsets from up there. You can walk right out of the neighborhood and to South Mountain trailheads for amazing hiking. And the location is just a short 20 minute drive from downtown Phoenix and Tempe. Jill and Carl are perfect hosts. I can’t imagine a better place to stay! We visit Phoenix twice a year so this will be our forever place.

Summary: LOVED this property! We have never stayed at a property that the owners live on the property and we didn't know how we would like that. Jill and Carl were the best hosts! Our flight landed late and we didn't get to the property until 10pm and Jill was there to greet us and show us and show us the pool house. We felt very welcomed and it wasn't uncomfortable at all to have the owners right there. It was kind of nice in the morning sitting out side in the beautiful back yard having coffee and being greeted with a friendly "good morning" if Jill or Carl were outside. The pool house is decorated beautiful and it had all the amenities anyone would need. If we travel back to Phoenix we will book again.

Summary: To be clear, this is a pool house just off of the main residence of the hosts, but was perfect for our small group and a short trip. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They had great recommendations for local food, which we brought back and ate in the outdoor kitchen/pool area. Beautiful location at the edge of South Mountain.
