Elegant four rooms in the historic center of Florence, just a few steps from Piazza della Signoria and Piazza del Duomo. In the district you can still know the true traditions of the ancient Florence, thanks to the many local shops, the craft shops and the many restaurants with Tuscan cuisine. All the centers of major tourist and cultural attractions are within walking distance from the house.
On the third floor of a tower-house in the Via Santa Elisabetta 2 (76 steps, no elevator) in the heart of the Roman and medieval Florence, this elegant apartment of 65 square meters it is on two levels. Downstairs we have the entrance, the living room, a bedroom, a bathroom with shower and terrace, overlooking the dome of the Duomo. Upstairs, the kitchen-dining room and a second bedroom.
Completely renovated in 2015, is air-conditioned (natural gas boiler + heat pump), has satellite TV, DVD player, PC with printer, scanner and photocopier, washer, dryer, dishwasher, multifunction oven, refrigerator-freezer, mocha and coffee maker, phone, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, toaster, vacuum cleaner, board games, books and tourist-guides in several languages.

Summary: Yes. There are a lot of stairs. But the location is perfect. We had everything we needed in the apartment. (We bought additional Moka grounds and dishwasher pods.) Beds were firm and comfortable. Water was warm for showers. Washer AND dryer for clothes. Our only issue is that the container for salt and for sugar were next to each other in identical vessels - so we did a lot of tasting to make sure we were using the right one!

Summary: We had a lovely stay. Close to the centre and Duomo, which was brilliant.Clean, great facilities, great additions such as soap and shower caps.We were aware of this before booking, but there are lots of steps to get to the apartment. However, the steps lead to a great view of the duomo on the balcony. Only things that could be improved was a mirror in the bedroom upstairs.

Summary: This apartment is exceptional. I almost hesitate to tell anyone about it. It was spotless, comfortable, well located, nicely appointed. The washer and dryer came in handy. There is a ton of space. It was a treat to stay here. But be forewarned, there are a lot of stairs. But it’s worth it.

Summary: This gem of an apartment is worth the stair climbing! It is roomy, comfortable and filled with light, along with an updated and beautifully designed kitchen and bathroom. The terrace has a breathtaking view of the Duomo, whose stately bells ring right down to your core. The location is perfect, around the corner from the Duomo, the Piazzale della Repubblica and Piazza della Signoria/Uffizi Gallery. Silvia is an attentive and gracious host who makes sure you have what you need and follows up regularly.

Summary: Wonderful apartment that lives up to the pictures and description. Great location! The check in process is thru an app and detailed instructions were sent via Whatsapp. I believe there are 78 steps to climb so be aware of that. It wasn't terrible. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and two queen beds. Should be very comfortable for 2 couples for a family. The kitchen is in the loft and fully stocked. The only confusing thing for me was the airconditioner/thermostat. We didn't really need it so we just opened the balcony doors...what a view! Highly recommend if the stairs don't scare you.
