Positive: The host and neighbourhood were excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotless with clean towels daily.

Negative: It was extraordinarily difficult to find. The map was not accurate and we walked up and down the street for about an hour looking for it. Locals were unable to direct us to the narrow side street where there was a very small sign outside the gate. There was no choice of breakfast. I was unable to eat the breakfast on day two as I am vegetarian and it contained meat.

Summary: Lovely room and welcoming, friendly host who speaks good English. Hard to find.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner was absolutely perfect—he spoke excellent English, was very welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable, with both a bathtub and a separate shower. Breakfast was varied and different every day, which we really appreciated.

Positive: The host was very helpful and friendly, he kindly provided recommendations for attractions and restaurants. The room was very comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. The location of the hotel although was hard to find at the beginning but it’s a few minutes away from the Main Street (night market) and it’s like 10min walk from the old town. There are excellent restaurants near the hotel. The breakfast is Chinese but they can offer you something western if you don’t like noodles for breakfast.

Negative: It was hard to find it, it’s in an alley, but your driver will manage to find it and make sure you communicate with the owner before arrival. It’s not inside the old town, but 10min away by foot from the old town (but still near many stores and restaurants)
