Summary: Location is excellent. The place was clean and everything needed was there. Really good if you’re planning on clocking. Something it can be noisy from outside as this apartment is just above a local bar.

Summary: The property is great in terms of location since it is right in Old Town and the apartment is very clean and the beds were comfortable. The only issue we have is that it is located right above 2 bars and both of them have outside tables and they kept their doors opened, so loud music blasted and very loud people were there until after 4am on Friday and Saturday. We stayed there Friday to Monday, so we did not really get much sleep the first 2 days. The bars were closed on Sunday when we finally had a peaceful night.

Summary: The apartment was clean in a great location relative to Zurich attractions. However, the description of the property did NOT include 2 very important facts… the apartment is a third floor walk up with impossibly steep stairs AND it located directly over a bar in a small alley. Needless to say had we know we would stayed somewhere else.

Summary: Mostly Everything was terrific. We were three older 😊 ladies traveling together. Water pressure excellent. The hot water was hot in seconds. The beds were comfy. Things were a bit tight for three especially when We wanted to eat. The biggest challenge: Somehow we missed that below us (apartment was on third floor) there were a couple of bars that stay open until 4 am. So ... Thursday, Friday and Saturday night it was very LOUD .... so loud that between the noise and the smoke wafting up from below we had to close the windows. But bottom line we were satisfied.

Summary: Easy access to all of Zürich. Lots of walkable sites and the main train station is a 5 minute walk. This is in the middle of great restaurants, so be aware there will be activity you will hear from the apartment. We liked the apartment very much.

Eating can be pricey but in the neighbourhood try * Rheinfelder Bierhalle - classic, cheap, quick * Pulcino - reasonable $ for pizza, pasta, wine * Raclette Factory - cheap intro to raclette A bit of evening noise due to its downtown location but otherwise great. Renters should be aware of the steep and narrow (under 36") staircase. And the floors are NOT level anywhere although this may be typical of classic old apartments in the area. Less fit clients should be alerted about the steep and narrow staircase.
