Positive: Newly remodeled with a very comfortable bed. It was a bonus to have a sink and toilet in a separate room also a sink and shower in another room for convenience while getting ready. The owner is very nice and is in the process of renovating all rooms. The breakfast is great with local eggs, cheese, deli meats and yogurt. The location is perfect with parking out front and a quick walk to the city center.

Negative: Steep stairs going up to the floors so bring a minimal amount of luggage for your stay. Also don’t park under the huge tree next to the church, your car will become a sticky mess!

Summary: Walkable darling quaint town while staying at a enjoyable hotel.

Positive: The owner is very lovely, always welcoming, and helpful. Easy parking. Very good breakfast. Not too touristy (at least on the days we were there). Very close to the town center. We even got a free room upgrade which was very generous. Bonus points for the very very cute dog

Negative: I would imagine this place is built mostly for the cold not for the heat and we arrived during a heat wave. Unfortunately the first night was a little uncomfortable temperature wise but all in all a very good stay.

Positive: The staff were wonderful, the rooms would large well appointed and comfortable. I loved the breakfast and they offered free parking. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had and I would recommend this proper to anyone staying in Oberammergau.
