Positive: Staff were so nice and helpful. Showed us where we were (cabin). Food available onsite. Nice walking trail. Got to see horses. Nice heating system. 2 rooms but not for 4 people. Kitchen table. Couch was comfy.
Negative: Didn't like hot tub communal but advertised as ours. No silverware. None. Not even a place for it. Construction on cabin next door. Weak wifi. Bed was small compared to US full mattress.

Positive: The cottage was very comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed. It was clean and had a great view of the surrounding landscape. The beds were awesome, extremely soft sheets. The location is great if you want to visit Geyser, Gullfoss and Thingvellir park. What made this place truly special was the kindness of the staff. We got food poisoning from something we ate elsewhere (so NOT from here) and couldn't move on the next day. We were lucky enough that our cabin wasn't booked, so we could stay and they gave us a discounted rate! They also offered to get us any supplies we needed to get better and gave us rice, boullion and crackers for free. They were truly sympathetic and we are very grateful for their good care.
