Summary: Private room and bath in the lower level of a split level style house. Has a private entrance and is closed off from the rest of the house by a locked door. Family lives in the house, could hear them from time to time, but nothing bothersome. Host was very responsive and pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable with a king bed, couch, desk, fridge and microwave. Towels were provided but no washcloths. Also, can't flush toilet paper, which was kind of annoying. I didn't catch that until after booking. Pets were allowed and we had a good stay overall with our small dogs.

Summary: Stay was ok. Majority of everything was fine, but it didn't say in the listing that you can't flush toilet paper at all and that was kind of disappointing to find that out on arrival. I probably would've booked a different place if I had known that. Also some basic things were missing that would help make the place more comfortable like a bath mat, and either a shelf or something in the shower to be able to store bath products/soap besides on the floor. Also the soap dispenser in the shower was empty when we arrived. The space itself was great for a one night stay, but not being able to flush toilet paper was off-putting.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay at this Bay Shore, NY accommodation. It's nicer than the photo, which really doesn't do it justice. It's spacious, very clean, thoughtfully and carefully planned and provisioned. Augusto is an excellent host. Communications with him were always clear, timely and pleasant. We felt safe and comfortable - We'd definitely stay here again.
