2 Bedroom Cottage in Summer Village, Wells

Blue Lobster cottage has everything you need for a perfect Maine vacation! It has the best location within Summer Village. It sits on a quiet cul-de-sac bordering the woods and feels very private ( just two other cottages in its cluster). It is convenient to get to all pools and many of the other amenities. The cottage has a designer beach feel with soothing colors and superb details. It technically sleeps 6 but this cottage is more appropriate for 5 due to the square footage. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with newer hybrid mattress, a large bureau, and a wall mounted smart tv (no cable). The second bedroom has a full size bed with a twin trundle bed underneath. Both of the mattresses in the second bedroom are newer*. The beautiful living room has plenty of room for relaxing and watching tv. It features a pull out sleep sofa chair that opens to a twin size memory foam bed. You will also enjoy the large Smart TV, wall AC unit, and an assortment of books and games. The cheerful sun room has a stylish dining set for six with matching sideboard, and a reading chair. The updated bathroom features a tub/shower combination with a great rain shower head. There is a stackable washer and dryer in-unit for your laundry needs. The fully stocked kitchen has granite counters, dishwasher, garbage disposal, full sized appliances, and plenty of storage. There is also a small breakfast table for two. Every room has a new ceiling fan. The outdoor sitting area is wooded and quiet with Adirondack chairs and a gas grill. It is a perfect place to enjoy an afternoon beverage. Blue Lobster is an outstanding place for couples or families to stay while enjoying Southern Maine!
*Please note that linens and bath towels are not provided. You must either bring your own or there are rental services available. Pillows, bed quilts, blankets, throws, beach towels (4) and kitchen towels ARE provided. Also, the owners have a non-shedding Shihtzu mix dog at this cottage in the spring. There is a deep cleaning down before renters arrive.

Summary: We had a great time for our week in Wells! The cottage was clean and nicely decorated. It was helpful that drawers and cabinets were labeled, so we could find everything we needed. The list of recommended restaurants and attractions was very helpful as well. Thanks for an awesome vacation!

Summary: We had a great week in Wells and our stay at the Blue Lobster. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the decor and coziness of the cottage. The resort had plenty for us to do- three pools, hot tub, game room and more. Sufficient room for 2 adults and a teenage boy. Highly recommend it for all who like the comforts of a resort.

Summary: The cottage was perfect for our family getaway and we loved the location! Within the cottage development, it was a short walk to the playground and to the family pool, which made it easy for spur of the moment decisions to go swimming. The cottage was centrally located within Wells with lots to do in the area. The cottage itself was very clean, we loved all the Maine decorations, and especially loved sitting around the big table in the porch area for our meals. The property manager/host was very communicative and responsive. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

Summary: The home is part of a gated resort of about 300 identical homes. This one seems more private than most as it backs up to woods. The place is comfortable, clean and well-equipped and the community is very quiet and convenient to many local attractions, beaches, and restaurants. The local area has a lot to enjoy, though parking near the beach and in Ogunquit is limited and pay lots are expensive.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in Wells, ME. The location was perfect for sightseeing. We visited Kennebunkport, Nubbles Lighthouse, Ogunquit beach, Wells beach, Perkins cove and so many more shops in between. We ate Lobster 🦞 every day and night. Going to Maine and eating Lobster was #1 on my mom's bucket list. My dad passed away in April of this year 2021, so this was a much needed vacation.

Summary: It was amazing—the property well kept. Our cottage was so clean and there was nothing we needed. The decor was nice and relaxing. Any questions we had were answered quickly. And we were provided with an amazing amount of information about recommendations for eating and visiting. The property was so quiet and we loved the location of our cottage. We had wonderful neighbors who also gave us a lot of suggestions of what to do😊

Summary: The cottage was just as pictured and included so many great little details such as coffee pods, games, books, even outlet covers for our newly walking baby. The unit was very clean and everything was in great condition. The weather was hot and humid during our August stay but there were multiple fans in each room as well as the a/c unit in the living room which easily cooled the entire unit. The location within the resort is perfect, very close to one of the pools and yet set back and private. Our friends rented a cottage down the hill in the same complex so it was fun to meet them at the beach (Drakes Island was our favorite) or the pool for dinner in the evenings. This is a great spot for a pandemic friendly trip with family or friends.
