Positive: Right from the very start, the process was so smooth! On the day of arrival, due to traffic conditions, we were really late, however we kept the property informed and they were willing to wait extra for us. The owner's parents showed us around, explained how everything works. The property is a fenced off and gated (perfect for pets), in a very quiet part of town, is a 5-10 minute walk to the lake restaurants and shops, and has excellent views of snow-capped mountains around it. There is ample parking in the front of the property. Its blessed with a large and well maintained garden with a massive lawn. The property is pet friendly (but please do inform the owner at the time of booking- we did that and the process was smooth). The property is located in the ground floor. There is an open plan kitchen/living room, complete with all the needed white goods, crockery, cutlery and even some food items. The open plan living-kitchen leads to a corridor. An antechamber with a washing machine and a cupboard holding iron, ironing board and other needed stuff leads to a shower room and the facilities. There's a very comfortable study-bedroom with a sofa bed on the other side of the corridor which then leads the main bedroom with a king sized bed and ample storage, toward the rear of the property. The owner has also provided bikes (of all sizes). The garden comes with a grill for barbequing and some excellent deck chairs where one can rest in the shade of some cherry trees and enjoy the view of the mountains around the area. The bird song in the garden, early in the mornings, is truly exceptional. The property has a good enough Wifi. Bed linen and towels were provided. It was comfortable, secure and pleasantly warm. The check out was equally smooth. In summary, we felt so much at home and the description provided by the owner is complete and accurate. We look forward to returning and wholeheartedly recommend the property.
Negative: Not applicable at all, we liked everything and can find no faults whatsoever! But just as a tip, the cord in the shower is actually an alarm and not the switch for a ventilator.

Positive: The location is amazing. And Although the access to the property is very quiet and away from traffic the main road bypasses the bottom of the garden, and can be busy at times. Not a problem more of an observation, it goes quiet at night. If you cross the road at the bottom of the garden, down on to the Beach walk to the left and just round the point there are fossilised shells in the rocks at high tide, they almost look like tribal art. Worth a look.
Negative: Some of the paint could do with a wee freshen up but it is general a lovely place to be.
Summary: Hopefully we will get back some time.
