3 Bedroom House in Scott, Homer

Beautiful waterfront home at the southern end of Skaneateles Lake. Located on the east side where you can enjoy long, sunny days on the private dock or the beach and breathtaking sunset views from the deck. 133 feet of private waterfront lake access! Bonfires on the beach are a wonderful end to a day at the lake.
The finished boathouse has a kitchenette with a refrigerator and water views. The rental includes use of three kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat.
Open floor-plan house with a large living area, kitchen, and granite breakfast bar. Plenty of seating for the whole family to enjoy the water views or a movie! Baseboard heating makes this a wonderful place to relax year-round. It's the perfect place to watch the leaves change.
Three total bedrooms - one king, one queen and another king-sized bedroom with additional sleeping space in the loft (not suitable for young children). Enjoy beautiful views of the lake from each bedroom. Linens and towels are provided.
Outdoor cooking area with granite-topped prep table, gas grill, and picnic table. If you must stay connected to the outside world, the camp has WiFi and a streaming TV!
The house is less than 30 minutes from the Village of Skaneateles, 25 minutes from Cortland or Homer, and 60 minutes from either the Ithaca or Syracuse Airports. Other local sights include the Carpenter Falls Nature Preserve and New Hope Mills. Walking distance to a playground, picnic area, basketball court, baseball field, and small public library.
This is a quiet, residential area. Maximum of 6 guests. We only accept bookings from guests who are at least 25 years of age. There are 35 stairs from the parking to the house, then a path down to the stairs to the dock (another 2 flights). The path to the water is shared but, once at the dock, you have a private dock, boathouse and beach.

Summary: This property was amazing! All of the water toys, the boat, the water and the beds were incredible! My kids and I enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming all day then enjoying s'mores by the water at night. The boat house was a great place to chill beers and chill inside when it rained. The owners were very quick to respond and help in any way. Since we drove from over 5 hours away, it was nice to have condiments and small things provided. The beds were almost more comfortable than ours at home and the views from each window were beautiful. Can't wait to come back!

Summary: This is a great lake retreat for the whole family. Aside from being on such a beautiful lake, the house is also located on a very good spot on the south end of the lake where it's narrow and very picturesque both from the house and the lake/boathouse below. The path from the house down to the lake is a littly rocky but easily managed by a 4 yr old, 8 yr old and parents in their 70's. This was our 2nd time staying at this house, with plans to return. It's rustic and it's charming with an updated kitchen, amenities, and heavenly beds ✨️. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating.

Summary: We backed in on a Wednesday afternoon and didn't pull out until Saturday at checkout! No need to go anywhere else. Everything was great from location to comfy beds to the special extras the owners provided. Quiet, crystal clear water. Nothing to worry about but enjoying the daytime fun on the lake and the ridiculously beautiful sunsets.

Summary: This property was the perfect location for our weekend away. We were able to bring our boat and launch it very close to the house. The house itself was well stocked and comfortable. We would be happy to stay there again!

Summary: Overall a wonderful lake house. The view of lake from every bedroom was amazing. Owner was responsive & provided many extras such as candy, packaged snacks, garbage bags, laundry detergent, etc. The driveway was steep but common for lake property. The only bathroom was on 2nd floor of house which was fine for my family but was harder for elderly parents to get to when they came to visit. The path to lake was a shared path & dock was connected to neighbor’s dock, separated by wall & a curtain. The dock, boat house & kayaks were great!!!

Summary: We had an Amazing weekend at the .Caitlin's lake house. My favorite part was the gorgeous view of Lake Skaneateles, I could sit there all day and look at that view! The inside of the house was spotless and had a beautiful wood interior. The beds were super comfy an there was tons of seating, both inside and out on the deck. The lower boat house is also super cute! If we had stayed longer we would have tried out the pontoon boat but didn't get a chance to this time around. Caitlin was great at checking in on us and recommended some great restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay here - Would definitely book again! Note: There are quite a few steps to get to the main house and it's a steep walk to the boat house...but definitely worth it!
