Charming lake view cottage on the tranquil southern end of Skaneateles Lake with 100 feet of lake frontage and a boathouse right on the water. Perfect for enjoying the lake and forgetting your troubles. Unique property with rare easy access to the lake by foot or by car. Open floor plan with french doors leading out to huge deck from sun-filled living room and master bedroom with spectacular views of lake. Also has a second bedroom with 2 twin beds plus a front room with a day bed that opens to a queen bed for additional sleeping options. Fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, country dining table, comfortable seating for 6 and a gas fireplace.
Boathouse furnished with fun and comfort in mind. Sliding glass doors open to double boat slip. Large wooden deck at water level with colorful Adirondack chairs. Lakeside fire pit perfect for grilling and roasting marshmallows. Full boat slip with ample additional dock frontage for tying up your fleet of small boats.
Unusually easy car access to the lake - drive down to the boathouse right to the water's edge. You can launch your boat from the Scott Park public boat launch, a 1/2 mile from the house or, if the water level in the lake is low, you can use the Skaneateles Marina in Mandana, a 10 minute drive up the lake. Please note there is a small, quiet road between the main house and the boat house. And while we are very dog-friendly, we do have a one-dog maximum per renter and the dog must be small, house-broken and well trained.

Summary: What a little gem on the south end of the lake. You won’t be disappointed in booking this property. From a fully stocked kitchen, to the tasteful and thoughtful decorating throughout and the comfortable bed and bed linens, there is nothing here that will disappoint! The view, the lake and the quiet peaceful setting made for a wonderful and relaxing week long stay for my entire family. My son fished his heart out, we all swam and loved sitting around the fires at night. Lastly, Eric was incredible to communicate with and making sure we had everything we needed. Thanks again for a memorable week, we hope to make it back again soon!

Summary: We rented this cottage for 3 friends because our lake place is so small. This has level lakefront, good parking, huge deck, cute cottage on gorgeous Skaneateles Lake. Who could ask for more? Would definitely rent this place again.

Summary: This was my family’s third summer staying here and we had a wonderful time, as always. The house is amazing - there are lake views from the entire front side and the sun just pours in. The bathroom and kitchen are clean and well stocked, and the house is decorated and furnished in such an inviting way. We had a blast jumping off the dock into the clear water and using the kayaks and paddle boards that are provided

Summary: We spent a wonderful 6 weeks at Eric's cottage on the lake. We found so much to do in the area, the time flew by. The cottage was very comfortable for two of us and our little dog. The boat house and dock became our favorite place. We swam and kayaked. The cottage was clean and well stocked with supplies and kitchen equipment. The window A/C kept it comfortable during the few days when it got to the 80s. The evenings cooled off nicely and there always seemed to be a breeze. It's a friendly neighborhood and people gave us advice on touristy things to do. We hope to return - maybe to catch the fall colors!

Summary: The property was exactly as described. The house was very clean and comfortable and the shoreline and boathouse were great places to relax, swim and kayak. And the patio off the front of the house provided an amazing view of this incredibly clean/clear lake.

Summary: This is a perfect spot to spend time with family and friends on beautiful Skaneateles lake. You will need to bring very little and you will wake up every morning to a beautiful view of one of the prettiest lakes. The lakefront is stocked with everything you need to enjoy the lake. The deck is great for cooking and eating outside. The hosts are available for any questions and checked in to make sure all was well while we were there. Lovely trip!
