This is our family home in Spain and you will be made very welcome by our neighbours. Completely restored, 15th-century merchant's house in the heart of Javea's chic 'Casc Antic', with a fantastic range of restaurants, bars, distinctive shops and wonderful indoor market within five minute's walk. With two spacious reception rooms, large rustic farmhouse kitchen and private pool and extensive garden terraces with gas barbecue and wood-fired pizza oven, it is the perfect place to enjoy real Spain and relax.
We reinvest any income we receive to make sure the house is of the highest standard. The pool is plenty large enough to swim and relax for a whole family and we will be heating it for out of season guests from November 2018, so you have no excuse not to swim!
We place a lot of emphasis on making sure the house is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for your stay to the standard that we would expect. We provide ample towels, including separate sets for shower / bath, pool and beach, so you don't have to bring any. Our manager is always on hand if you should have any problems or need any advice. We want you to have the best time possible and really want to see you return!
The house has been completely restored to a high specification using sustainable materials, with handmade terracotta floor tiles throughout, exposed timbers, local artisan iron and woodwork and high-quality appliances.
Casa Xabia is an excellent home all year round with solar / gas hot water, eco air-conditioning and ceiling fans for the summer, woodburner / hot air heating in all main rooms for the winter and insulation against both heat and cold.
There is a large garden area, with two shaded terraces - one next to the kitchen and ideal for breakfast in the sun and the other next to the freshwater pool with full dining area including gas barbecue, pizza oven, sink and fridge.
Down below, a double garage with access to the main road around the town provides space for a large family car and also houses the washing machine, boiler and solar hot water controls.
The main entrance is situated in a narrow medieval street, with only very occasional cars passing, making the house perfect for young children. Teenagers will appreciate the independence of being able to walk around the corner to shop or meet friends in a cafe bar.
Javea (or Xàbia) has a great programme of year-round fiestas and events and there is always something new or different to do.
With the sandy Arenal beach just five minutes drive away, and the iconic fishing port with stylish restaurants and rustic fisherman’s cantina within a fifteen-minute walk, the house is perfectly situated for any kind of holiday. There are some great spots out of town too, with quieter coves, mountain walks and excellent on and off-road cycling. The snorkelling is amazing, with fish and seascape to rival Indonesia.
Lots of places now rent kayaks. motor boats, jetskis and SUP boards and Jávea has well-established sailing and windsurf schools.
The climate is good all year round and we especially like Easter and the fiesta in September, as well as the August buzz.
Local food and drink is a big focus in the area and there is a good supply of excellent fresh fish and vegetables close to the house. Restaurants in the old town continually push gastronomic standards, with new takes on traditional recipes and the Sunday farmers’ market at Jesus Pobre is a weekly treat.

Summary: Nick’s villa is one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Loads of room, wonderful pool and outdoor kitchen area…and the location is unbeatable. Old Town in Xabia is beautiful and a great place from which to explore the surrounding area…we will definitely be going back!

Summary: Centre of Javea Old Town so perfect for walking out to bars/restaurants. Beach at the port less than 5 minutes and the Arenal about 5 minutes. Garage/car park a real luxury ! House is wonderful. Loads of charm with your own private pool. Air con in all rooms, fully fitted kitchen, tv and BBQ/pizza oven around the pool (also with its own fridge and sink). Would highly recommend.

Summary: Amazing old house with pool , a real Find , beautiful old town , great value for money for food and drink , train to the beach is a great service , getting home not easy as taxi service is a disaster . Teenagers had experience of a lifetime on jet ski tour of sea and caves , adults had a thoroughly relaxing premium holiday in amazing old town . Can’t wait to go back

Summary: Fantastic location right in the centre of historic Xabia. So nice to be able to walk straight out onto the network of old alleyways and squares to find lovely cafes, restaurants and shops. The villa itself has been sympathetically renovated maintaining many original features. It has a lovely feel to the place. There were a couple of power cuts but we lit candles and fired the log burner up, and it was actually rather lovely. We really appreciated the solar-heated pool in the back courtyard (we stayed in February half term and it still managed to reach a balmy 27 degrees). There is a skate park and plenty of playgrounds and beaches nearby to let off steam. Note there’s no TV in the property but excellent WiFi. Both the British owner and local key holder were extremely helpful and responsive. Highly recommended for an authentic Xabia stay

Summary: We loved the location of this property set on the edge of the old town in Javea. Walking distance to many restaurants, shops and the market. The owners were fantastic to deal with, and their agent in Javea couldn't be more helpful. Great experience all round.

Summary: We had an amazing holiday. The house was very well a equipped with 5 bedrooms. The biggest surprise was the pool. Looking at the pictures it looks like a plunge pool but to our surprise it was a full size infinity pool. Everything is on you door step with being in the centre of town. There is a garage if you rent a car but walking isn’t a problem 15/20 mins to the beach/marina and several supermarkets close by. A wonderful holiday had by all. Would definitely recommend and hopefully will return again. Thanks fir a wonderful holiday
