Negative: Both bathrooms are downstairs. Listing stated “full bath on first floor” so we assumed the other bathroom was upstairs. Only air unit is upstairs but overall was pretty comfortable just got stuffy during the warmer part of the day.

Positive: We love this cozy cottage in the woods 😁 it's rustic authentic with lots of charm . We loved the location, close to the local restaurant famous Louis and the general store that has everything in case u don't lol we love it is close to the Linville caverns and water falls which is an easy to moderate level hike . We loved coming back to the privacy of the cabin with our dogs and feeling at home . The soaking tub is a must and the bath salts and candles are a nice touch to create a relaxing night with a fire under the stars to top it off . Just don't be like me and forget to bring towels and bedding lol ooops thank goodness Walmart isn't to far.

Positive: I have traveled quite extensively both sides of Atlantic Ocean. Tensi Cottage was appointed with extra little details, , gifts, treats, , and special attention given to Christmas holidays. Pet friendly, , and apparently Pet safe.. As our girls did not pick up on any animal odors.. To me, , that is a REAL WINNER. 2 great ethnic resturants 10 miles away. And Louise's Famous Rock resturant a mere 800 feet away. ( I have eaten there a few dozen times over 20 years ). Hikes through nature , some Extreme, some mild for us 70 year Olds. Super nice Firewood next door for sale. Electric blankets galore ! For those winter stays. Though the individual baseboard heat, heated that 100 plus year old Wormy Chestnut interior gramma Cottage Very nicely. Wife Loved the big Ole tub , and said several times, ' so nice and warm in my bathroom'.. Yes , 2 bathrooms. We Will Be Back ! Kemo n Bella

Negative: There was no signage warning us that the driveway was unsafe after a rain and it cost us $150 to get our car towed from the driveway after it was stuck in the mud and quite nearly slid down a hill!!!. When I called the cabin owner he was not helpful at all in remedying the situation and told us we were on our own and that nobody had ever gotten stuck there but when we called the tow truck we found out that was very untrue as the tow truck itself had gotten stuck last time they pulled another person out.
