This Black Canyon Chalet (Licensed Estes Park #6013) 2 bedroom, 1 ½ bath condo provides all the comforts of home with a setting that defines Rocky Mountain National Park. Kitchen and main bath recently renovated, new carpet in 2021. The condo is nestled behind the Stanley Hotel overlooking the historic MacGregor Ranch in the Black Canyon Creek area of Estes Park. Lumpy Ridge borders the area offering dramatic views.
This property is just ¾ of a mile north of downtown Estes Park and gives you easy access to all the events in the area while providing the privacy to be fully immersed in the beauty of this mountain retreat. All of our visitors are struck by the amazing view from the deck but equally enjoy the care put into the comfort and cleanliness of this spacious condo.
The condo sleeps 4 adults. The master bedroom and upstairs loft bedroom have queen size beds. Please review pictures to see the layout of the rooms. A pack and play is available for little ones. The spacious deck will be one of your favorite places to barbecue, relax and watch the birds and wildlife in their natural habitat.

Summary: My wife and I spent our 5th year anniversary, with our 2 yr old, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. Especially, since we got married just across the parking lot. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay, if available of course, again and again. We found the condo to be very nice, homey as well as close to everything in Estes Park. We were given great detailed information of the surroundings as well as what was needed and expected from us as tenants. Excellent.

Summary: We had a fantastic time at the Black Canyon Chalet. The location was perfect; the mountain view was breathtaking; and the condo was cozy and comfortable. The owners thought of everything to make it welcoming. We cooked one dinner in the well-stocked kitchen with food from the nearby Safeway. We also visited several excellent restaurants in the nearby town and attended a function at the Stanley Hotel, which was very close and convenient. I would highly recommend this condo and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Summary: The property is situated in a great location, amazing views of mountains from the front facing windows truly capturing the essence of Colorado. The unit is clean, updated inside to give the convenience of modern living but still feeling like a cabin retreat. The two bedroom's and one and half bathrooms a main floor full bathroom shower are perfect for the size of the house. You are minutes from the downtown hustle yet you won’t know it from the location. It was great!
