Summary: We had a little trouble getting in because our flight got delayed and it was dark. In addition, there was construction on the building taking place and the scaffolding and detritus made it more difficult. Once inside we found a spotlessly clean, well equipped and furnished apartment. Very roomy as well. The location is nice and convenient to shops, restaurants, lakeside park, and downtown Hamburg is a short 20-30 minute walk. A couple negatives; the furniture in the living room is not comfortable to sit on, as ithe couches are oversized and you can’t utilize the backrest unless you curl up with your feet on the couch. We also weren’t able to use the TV, it would not come on and there were no instruction on how to use it. The afore mentioned construction scaffolding was directly in front of the window, which, besides blocking the view of the street and canal, we were surprised to have workers right outside the window at times. Most of these issues are pretty minor- the construction is almost done and we didn’t really miss being able to watch TV. Would I stay there again? Absolutely!
