Villa Agel is a spacious and elegant villa set on a knoll overlooking Coral Bay offering 180 degree views of Coral Bay, Drake's Passage, and the British Virgin Islands. Though it is only minutes from the best beaches and restaurants in the Caribbean, guests enjoy complete privacy, whether sunning by the large pool or dining outside in the shade of palm trees and flowering bougainvillea. You'll fall asleep to the gentle lapping of waves on the nearby shore. To add to your comfort, the villa is solar powered with battery back-up should the island loose power.
Exceptional design, craftsmanship, and landscaping set Villa Agel apart. Traditional West Indian stone walls and arches are complemented by rich mahogany woodwork. You will enjoy the well-equipped spacious granite and mahogany kitchen. A formal dining area and living room wrap around the central stone tower, a separate wet bar is great for entertaining, the view out the window is spectacular, and opens up to a generous deck with 180 view with incredible sunrises and stargazing.
Off each side of the main living area, are two large masters with air conditioning, vaulted ceilings, and en-suites. Both (one king and one queen) have traditional Caribbean mahogany four poster beds, views of Coral Bay, sliders or french doors that open onto the pool deck, and outdoor showers with tropical plants and beautiful stonework that are high enough for privacy.
At the heart of this remarkable compound is a generous and very private pool, bordered by terracotta tile decks and lounge chairs to delight sun worshipers. If you prefer shade, two pergolas, mature palms, and lush tropical gardens offer several quiet, shady retreats. Antique brick arches surround an expansive covered gallery overlooking the pool and Coral Bay and provide access to two more master suites with air conditioning, en-suites, queen-size beds, views of Coral Bay, sliders to pool deck, and each has a private balcony with Coral Bay Harbor views!
The 5th bedroom is located downstairs near the parking area. It is the largest of all the bedrooms and boasts a king bed and a twin futon, views of Coral Bay (including from the shower), kitchenette, stonework, and AC.
Privacy is given very high priority at Villa Agel. While the managers are on-sight, they are on a separate level. Yet close enough to give personal attention. Schedules permitting, they will meet you at the villa to acquaint you with everything. You may never want to leave.

Villa Agel is located in St Quacco Zimmerman on the outskirts of Coral Bay and 9 mountainous miles from Cruz Bay, close to one of the most popular restaurants for local food and entertainment - Miss Lucy's. Villa Agel is a short drive to the heart of Coral Bay with many restaurant options such as Johnny Lime, Sharky's, Pizza in Paradise, Rhum Lines, and the famous Skinny Legs where you can get a cheeseburger in paradise. You are a 15 minute drive to Maho & Francis (swim with sea turtles!), part of the North shore beaches, 20 minutes to Hansen in the East End, and a 5 minute drive to Salt Pond, one of the best snorkeling spots on the island and the trail head for Ram Head hike.

Summary: This house is stunning, and close to so many great snorkeling spots. It was absolutely perfect for my birthday trip with friends and adult children. The deck views were beautiful, the kitchen well-appointed, the bedrooms were comfortable and pretty and had A/C and lots of windows, the bathrooms were lovely and plentiful, and the pool was a perfect end to each day. The owners were incredibly responsive and great communicators, and the outdoor pet cats very sweet. Nothing could have been better. I also loved being in the Coral Bay area which is quieter than Cruz Bay but still has great restaurants. Our favorites were Skinny Legs and Johnny Lime. Be sure to rent a car than can handle bumps and steep hills!

Summary: Everything was as described and more. We did have a wonderful time, and the villa was wonderful for a large party of people. The only problem was the AC, which is not what I would call fully described correctly in the property description. There is no AC in the living part of the house, only the bedrooms. We happened to take the one bedroom where the AC had issues and so we never did have a cool experience in the house, no matter where we were. Other than that, all was good and I'd recommend the villa. Catherine and Eric communicated well and were very responsive.

Summary: Villa Agel exceeded our expectations! The location is great, on the quieter side of the island, and you’re still a quick easy ride to many beautiful beaches, and there are multiple markets and restaurants right down the street. The property was great- clean, spacious, fully stocked with kitchen appliances and beach gear. Pool was perfect, A/C and grill worked well, and the bathrooms are all really unique and cool. 2 of the rooms are in a separate building across the pool deck, which worked great for our group, and they have private decks and bathrooms. The views from the multiple decks can’t be beat! We also loved that there were multiple outdoor areas to enjoy, including the front deck which has incredible views, a nice breeze most nights, and is away from the pool (helpful for us with small kids). Catherine and Eric were incredibly responsive and provided a ton of helpful information leading up to and during our trip. We would absolutely stay here again!

Summary: This house was better than we could have ever imagined! It was spacious enough for all 10 of us (3 family groups). The pool was perfect for kids, teens, and adults. It was located on the quiet side, which we absolutely loved! Close to restaurants and near lots of beaches. The kids enjoyed seeing the tortoises that visited every evening. The outdoor showers were a fun addition the tropical stay. The house was stocked with everything we needed, towels, pool toys, chairs, umbrellas, and all the kitchen utensils you need.

Summary: Amazing House on an Amazing Island. Very clean as advertised. We had a multifamily group of ten. Would also be perfect for up to 5 couples. Each bedroom has their own private bath. Kitchen table was large enough for everyone to eat/play games together. Kitchen was well stocked if you plan on cooking. It was nice to cool down in the pool at the end of the day in an expansive outdoor area. Never knew where the "wild" turtle was going to appear each day. Still trying to figure out how he went up and down the stairs. We traveled with our own snorkel gear and coolers. However, there were plenty of both available at the house if needed. We did take advantage of the 10+ beach chairs every day. We will be staying there again if we are traveling with a group of 6 or more. Thank you for a wonderful travel experience.
