Comfortable, updated home on a fishing lake (we have poles and a private dock!) with a screened-in pool and hot tub. Just a short drive to beaches on the gulf coast. Enjoy your coffee on the patio at sunrise and break out the blender for margaritas at sunset at our Margaritaville bar. It's a truly lovely spot to relax and enjoy our beautiful Florida weather.
*Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, and both bedrooms have sliding glass doors to the pool/patio area.
*One bedroom features a king bed; the other bedroom features a king bed and a triple bunk bed (all twin-sized); and one of the living room areas features a queen pull-out sofa bed.
*Full kitchen w/most cooking supplies provided; dining room table w/bench-style seating and kitchen island w/stools.
*Two living room areas, both connected to the kitchen and each with a TV (there's a TV outside as well... you can watch the game from the pool or hot tub).
*Large patio table w/chairs for outdoor dining.
*Pool is unheated, but comfortable most of the year... and the hot tub helps when it isn't! : )
*Desk and desk chair for those who still need to work on vacation!
*We are a pup-friendly property - small dogs only, up to two ($30 per dog per night, but we are happy to cap fees for guests who are staying 4+ nights). We have a dog door in the screened-in patio area that leads to a fenced-in backyard with grass for pups to roam.

Summary: The pictures don’t do it justice. The views from the pool area were amazing. We even got to see the alligator one evening. The place is REALLY nice, a bit dark but that was fine as it kept the house cool. The location was very convenient to top tourist spots. Laurie was quick to answer questions and the cookies and card were a very nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: My son, wife and myself came to meet the newest member of our family. The home was a perfect place to relax, share with family and just enjoy a few days in FL. The host was excellent at responding and the house was filled with any necessities you might need. Will definitely try to rebook on any return trips.

Summary: Property was very nice; being on the lake was beautiful. Bring your birdwatching book! House was clean and was stocked with every thing you could possibly need. We understood the pool wasn't heated and were just a bit disappointed that the sun wasn't enough to get the water to a temperature that made it enjoyable.

Summary: This is the second time we have stayed here, and we love it! They have made some updates since last year and they were all little things but made a difference in bettering our stay :) It is beautiful and quiet - just what I want when I am on vacation. They have lots of items you would need for cooking at home :) The Hosts are FAST to respond to any questions of concerns you may have. Overall a great stay!

Summary: The owners could not be nicer or more accomodating! Great communication. The lake and dock were nice and we even caught some nice size bass. This house is in an older neighborhood, that could use some TLC but close to groceries and restaurants. It is about a 30 minute drive to Honeymoon Island/Caladessi Island(which I strongly recommend, especially the latter—gorgeous beaches! There is mini golf nearby too which was very nice and clean. Some opportunities for improvement: The lighting in the house is a little different and took some time to figure out. Switches are labeled but still confusing. We were not able to run water in 2 places at the same time without water pressure being greatly affected. Having some lamps or a ceiling light in the front room would be very beneficial, as there is only 1 small one We did have an issue with the hot tub and internet shorting out, but the owner came over very quickly to address and fix the issue and even offered a small discount for the problem, which was nice.

Summary: The host is very generous. There was everything we needed for our long stay. The lanai is fabulous. Very private and looks right over the lake. The hot tub was a plus as it was a bit cool when we first arrived to take a dip in the pool. Enjoyed feeding the turtles. They do love eating out of your hands! The host left some nice suggestions of places to visit and eat. Tarpoon Springs is a fun shopping experience and we visited Howard Beach often. Catches is a great place to eat and so is Whiskey Joes (more casual). We really enjoyed our stay, it felt like home.

Summary: The property and host are really wonderful! Fun extra touches are amazing! I would take off .5 for the neighborhood. Its not like we felt unsafe during our stay, however, I wouldn’t walk my dog at night in the neighborhood. It seems like a few houses are foreclosed or abandoned. Nothing ever happened and like I said I felt completely safe. The house is heavily lit. It had a wonderful environment on the inside and was a great experience overall.

Summary: The property was beautiful. Very clean. When arrived there was fresh cookies which was a lovely gesture. The host responded to any questions very quickly. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay again!

Summary: This property is well taken care of and everything is just as described. There was even a few extra things we did not expect that was a nice touch from welcome brownies to extra drinking water, snacks and the amount of every day items that you don't think you will need but do. We will definitely stay again
