This property is located on the South Dakota Side of Lake Traverse. Two miles north of Lake Traverse Resort. Lake Traverse is 16 miles long and 2 miles wide and boarders SD and MN.
Kick back and enjoy the views at the Lake Traverse Cabin on the South Dakota Side! Lake Traverse is a great lake for walleye fishing and water sports. The cabin is located right off the tip of Jensen Island which makes for a great fishing spot! We have added a dock to the property. **Note: There is no boat lift but feel free to tie your boat to the dock if needed. Public access boat ramp is less than 1/2 mile from the property. Lake Traverse Resort is 2 miles from the property! Two golf courses within 20 minutes drive and many restaurants nearby!
The cabin sleeps up to 6 people and features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living room area, full kitchen, attached 3 stall garage, large lakeside deck, and fire pit! The cabin sits on a large flat lot with plenty of room for yard games and shade from the trees, there is also a play set for kids! ***This property sleeps up to 6 guests. Summary: The owner was friendly and responsive. The dock was broken and unusable, and we were informed of that fact one day before our arrival date. The water stains on the broken dock indicate it has been broken for some time. Good thing we weren't planning on tying a boat to the dock. The lake behind the house was completely choked with weeds, which made swimming and fishing impossible. This was the middle of June, and it was not algae, but long, stringy, tangled weeds. We booked 4 nights, but we ended up leaving 2 days early because swimming and fishing were our primary plans, and we could not do those things. The lake was pretty to look at, but if you want to swim or fish this is not the place. The house had a musty smell, masked by numerous air fresheners througout the house. It also smelled like dogs are frequently in the house. The other reviewer citing mold issues was probably right. There was indeed evidence of moldy drywall in the entryway, and the water damaged ceiling areas he described in his review are now covered up with vinyl plank flooring on the ceiling. Other than this glaring issue, the house was pretty clean. Showers were kind of icky, my wife didn't want to use it. Water pressure was low and drains were slow. Internet and AC worked well. We've rented a lot of VRBOs over the years, and we usually get a much higher quality accomodation at this price point. This place is significantly overpriced.

Summary: Very nice house, spacious, all the things you need for a comfortable, beautiful family fishing trip! Laundry, dishes and dishwasher, bathrooms and cleaning supplies, close to the lake! We enjoyed corn hole and kayaking and comfortable beds for a great nights sleep! We would highly recommend!!

Summary: Our family had an amazing time at the cabin!! The amenities we’re perfect, comfortable, and clean. We were able to JetSki on the lake, go fishing and kayaking. The barbecue was a plus and we made good use out of it. Will definitely stay again.
