Positive: Nick is the Best Host and really saved the day for us and our girls when we discovered that the property that we had originally booked was totally inadequate for our needs. It was great value for money, we could easily cook and enjoy our meals sitting at the table all together. The location is great, the city centre is a short walk away and we really enjoyed the walk along the Taff to Cardiff Bay. There was a food market in front of the property on Sunday morning as mentioned in the description - we didn't buy anything but the smells were really appetising! We really appreciated Nick's advice on the free parking (a 12-minute walk from the flat) which we would never have found on our own; and it was great that he was always available for advice. We actually met him in person, which was a bonus. We thought that the little guide to Welsh in the entrance hall was a really fun idea! We would definitely recommend this property and we are already considering going back for another stay.
Negative: I would add salt & pepper, oil & vinegar, tea & coffee, but it is clearly stated that you won't find any of these in the flat. I understand that not everyone is happy sharing this kind of products. The family staying upstairs was really noisy, even late at night (despite the fact that Nick does ask guests to be respectful). If I wanted to be extremely picky, I might say that the wooden frames of the beds creaked a little.

Positive: The location of this apartment is great. Very close to the city centre and the principality stadium. It has a view of the river. There is a supermarket close by. The apartment was very clean. The host was very friendly and helpful and sent lots of suggestions for things to do during our trip.
Negative: There wasnโ€™t enough room for 4 of us to sit comfortably to watch tv. The bedrooms all had vertical blinds which didnโ€™t keep the sun out at this time of year so the bedrooms very light in the evenings and mornings which made it difficult for the children to sleep. Blackout curtains would be much better.
Summary: A very clean apartment close to the city centre.

Positive: Nick was brilliant with my partner and I from start to finish. We had a room cancelled on us via booking.com and needed to book a room very quickly (as we were already in Cardiff) and Nick came to the rescue. NOTHING TO DO WITH NICK!! Nick contacted me direct via watsapp with the expectations he had for us whilst we stayed in the property. He gave us suggestions on parking, local shops and restaurants, as well as recommendations for the local area. This provided my partner and I with confidence in our host and in the property. In addition to this, there signs around the property explained it was a family owned building; which again, gave us confidence in the host and the other guests. Thank you Nick
Negative: We would have liked a double bed instead of the choice of 5 single beds but this is only a preference and I completely understand why singles are preferred by the host.

Positive: Very responsive to all queries host even though he was on holidays, waived the deposit and the need to post a passport photo. I recommend
Negative: A few basic things were missing, I had to go shopping for toilet paper for example. A bucket with dirty water had been left in the kitchen by the person cleaning the place
