This beautifully styled home, we lovingly call The Pen, is located in Pigtown (aka Washington Village). Pigtown offers a vibrant business community, local shops and great eats while being just minutes from Camden Yards, M&T stadium, Horseshoe casino, Baltimore Inner Harbor, the historic Fells Point, Carroll Park (which has one of Baltimore’s Classic 5 golf courses) and the Phoenix Art Yard (which features local art while adding an eclectic vibe to neighborhood).
The Pen is modern and cozy. It has a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Also available in the fully stocked kitchen are a toaster, blender, waffle iron and a Keurig, all the amenities needed to make your stay delightful. There are ceramic tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms and bamboo hardwood floors throughout the rest of the home. Exposed brick, that is a traditional characteristic of a Baltimore row home, is selectively displayed. A fenced in patio awaits off the back of the kitchen with a table and chairs, creating a pleasant intimate outdoor atmosphere. Other amenities are WIFI, smart tv’s, a security system and a Bluetooth speaker enabled light fixture on the 1st floor, allowing sound throughout the home. The bedroom and living room have darkening shades but, if left open from the top or bottom, you will be able to enjoy the light of the day. The living room is comfortable with a velvet couch and smart tv. Additionally, there's a dining area that can double as an at-home workspace.
There is ample free street parking. NO smoking inside of the home or pets allowed. The Pen is sanitized in between guest following the American Hotel & Lodging Association Guidelines.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in Baltimore. The house was clean and the inside was as described and stocked with things that we needed. There was a book of detailed instructions for our stay and the host responded quickly to our questions. The neighborhood was not what I had pictured. It was a quick drive to the inner harbor and stadiums, but I would drive and not walk to nearby attractions.

Summary: The property stated it could sleep 4, so we would have been in trouble if we weren’t a party of three men. The neighborhood was a little unnerving at first but we had no issues at all. Once you’re in the space it is well decorated, very clean and I found it comfortable. The keurig was great as was the garberator and other appliances. The main floor bathroom was great as was the second floor bathroom with tub and shower. We ordered breakfast daily to the door which was great! The landlord Tracey was very quick to respond and support, she made the experience better. I would recommend this for a couple, or group of three that have two that will sleep in the same bed and one who is okay with sleeping on a couch pull out. All in all much better than a hotel and a great value for what we needed. I may go back again at some point if the party I’m travelling with fits the description.
