Positive: The house had everything we needed and the only thing was it was 25 mins to the University. It was quiet and would have suited a family with small children as it had big gardens back and front for play. There was a nice pub resturant called The Hamlet at the top of the Old Road which is about 30 min walk if it's a nice day but only 4 mins in the car if someone draws the short straw.
Negative: Nothing it was pretty good all round and I would stay here again.

Positive: The location, for us was perfect really as we have family just two miles away in Skule Hill. It was nice and quiet, in an area where the neighbours take great pride in the upkeep of their homes and hedges and borders and it was for us a very safe and secure place to stay. The Beds were very comfortable and everybody body said the same as we used 3 of the 4 bedrooms available. There was more than ample private parking for the three cars our family had between them and the grounds are fully enclosed with mature shrubbery so it was great and safe for our grandchildren to play in. We had a great evening Dining out at Reardon's Bar and Restaurant which is only 1.7 km away from the house at Hollycross -the food was excellent as was the hospitality. Loch Gur is a few km down the road [left immediately alongside Reardon's] and is a must visit- very tranquil and beautiful and lots of Irish History to be learned there with settlements there going back thousands of years BC.
Negative: Getting the hot water to heat up was a challenge because when you pressed boost you got 15 mins of heat and so the water was never hot BUT by chance we pushed the boost button twice accidentally and it jumped to 30 minutes and each time you pressed it, it doubled the time for the immersion to heat the water; having said that, we used the two showers for the majority of the time. However, maybe some 'User Instructions' in the house might assist the next occupiers. The only communication with the owners was by a couple of texts but that was fine really. Those 'new' to Ireland should be aware that access to this property is via an old winding 'L' road and caution when driving along it is recommended- if you are on holiday, don't be in a rush! Apart from that, there was no other real issue with the property.
Summary: A PERFECT PLACE TO STAY IF THAT LOCATION SUITS YOU

Positive: Brilliant spot, close enough to Limerick for an easy drive in, but far enough away it felt like we were staying on a farm. The cows across the road helped with that also! Host was easily contactable and very helpful. House was clean and spacious. Made good use of the laundry facilities and the large bath.

Negative: Only very minor issue is there was six of us and only five places to sit in the evening to watch tv this is vey minor and would not stop us from using again

Negative: There were not so many bigger pans, making it a bit harder to make a meal - we ended up using a bunch of smaller pans to make it work.
