If you're looking for beautiful views of Lake Michigan, you will love staying in this 2700 square foot house with 120 feet of private beach new beach stairs installed. It's located about halfway between Grand Haven and Holland. There is a 2 car garage leading into the main floor where you will find the master bedroom with spectacular views with a king bed and full bathroom. Around the corner from the master is a second bedroom with a king bed and full bath. There is a fully stocked kitchen with a double oven and amazing views from nearly every angle. The great room leads to a 3 seasons porch and renovated deck. The bottom floor also boasts great views as well as a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with twin beds and a full bathroom. You will also find a pool table which can convert to a ping pong table. There is a second 3 seasons room which leads out to another renovated deck and fenced in back yard. 1 week minimum stay ( in peak season memorial day to labor day - May-September). New beach stairs to private beach.

please rinse off sandy feet and dry before entering houser using outdoor shower (NW house) or outdoor faucet. You may use brush to brush sand off feet.

Summary: What a wonderful place! There was nothing at all to complain about, hands down best VRBO property we have ever booked. The beach was quiet as well as the neighborhood. The house was well stocked with everything you would need- garbage bags, paper towel, kitchen items for cooking in, etc. The view was spectacular and with the four porch we were able to enjoy during the rain. Owner was fast to respond to email and the check out was the best I have ever experienced. We booked already for next summer! Thanks again for helping us make some great family memories.

Summary: The house was just right for us. We had one set of grandparents, two adult children and their spouses and one 7 year old grand child. The house was big enough for people to find a place to get away if needed. The stairs to the beach may hinder some people but that was not a problem for us unless you may have mobility issues. The view from the house was lovely in fact we waited for the sunsets over Lake Michigan each night. Kitchen and house were well stocked. There was some mention that wifi was spotty but we didn't have an issue with that either. There was not room in the garage for any cars but plenty of room to park three cars in the drive way. The three season porches were lovely. We had dinner on the outside deck each night.

Summary: The bottom line: we will be back! The Burts' lake house is in a wonderful location, high atop a Lake Michigan dune, with windows all around to take in the gorgeous views: sunsets, boats cruising through, and tall, lush trees. Communication with the hosts was great: they were highly responsive and accommodating. The home was equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of towels, linens, and cozy throw blankets. For a 3-generation group of 5 people, it was the perfect amount of space for us. There are even 2 decks and 2 three-season rooms. I spent many hours in the upper three-season room (with a full view of the lake, comfy chairs, and a ceiling fan), and I miss it already. The home was clean and tidy, and there were a lot of comfortable spaces for relaxing, reading, watching movies, and chatting with loved ones. The stairs to the beach are numerous and steep, but once you get the hang of it, it's fine. There are beach chairs and towels provided. The kitchen is spacious, and if you're an aspiring chef, there are double ovens and a countertop range. Three HVAC zones, so everyone will be comfortable. The primary suite is large and comfortable. The public beach is visible from the home's private beach, but the sound does not carry, and other than one day when neighbors were playing in the water, we hardly heard anyone else. We watched many motorboats, pontoons, freighters (one totally lit up at night), and barges cross the water. A wonderful place to stay!

Summary: This was our second October in a row at this welcoming home. We are three couples who get together for a long weekend to re-bond with one another and take in the fall color. This house has more than enough room for all of us, an extremely well equipped kitchen, and spectacular sunsets over Lake Michigan seen from the comfort of the back room. Next October? It will probably be a threepeat!
