Welcome to Dashy's Destination, 4 acres of fun and relaxation. Located on a private small man-made lake shared with only two other homes (NO SWIMMING). FAMILY-FRIENDLY. NO PARTIES PLEASE. NO SMOKING OR PETS ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES.
Enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the private man-made lake. Spend the day and night on the huge deck with a fully equipped tiki bar, chaise lounges, and multiple seating areas. In between drinks and food at the tiki bar, challenge your family and friends to a game of volleyball, badminton, corn hole, spike ball, bocce, or basketball. Bring your fishing poles to fish off of the dock (catch and release only). There is also, a fun kids play area with picnic table, recreation set, and toddler playset. When you are done playing outside, come in and enjoy a game of pool or foosball, play Pac-Man, Galaga, or Frogger on the full-size arcade machines, or play any of the many board games we have onsite.
There is over 4500 sq. ft. of living space in the house. The open concept main level has a large, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a table for 8, a bar area with built-in barstools that seats an additional 5 (extra table and chairs in garage for use in the home), and a big pantry to store all of the goodies you purchase at the Holland or Grand Haven Farmer's Market. The family room has a 65-inch large screen TV and overlooks the deck and the lake. The study which doubles as an extra bedroom and a half bath round out the main floor.
A Beautiful open staircase with stone accent wall leads you to the sprawling second floor. There you will find the master en suite with spa-like master bath with massage table and views overlooking the man-made lake. A second full bath, 3 more bedrooms and a sitting room/ bedroom complete the second floor.
The walkout basement has a full bath, 2 additional bedrooms, second living room and a recreational area with a pool table, foosball table and arcade games.
Pigeon creek launch just 1.4 miles away. Launch our kayaks or bring your own, boat to launch as well. Port Sheldon park is just a half-mile away with tennis courts and playground. Several parks and beaches close by. Kouw Park 2 miles away, Windsnest Park Beach 3.5 miles away (great beach and great place to watch the sunset), Kirk Park and Riley Trails 5 miles away, Tunnel Park 6.5 miles and Holland State Park known for its sugar-sand beaches, beautiful sunsets and views of "Big Red" lighthouse with paddle boat rentals and playgrounds just a 12 minute drive. Downtown Holland is a 15 minute drive away offering great shopping, restaurants, breweries and entertainment.

Summary: Rented for my daughter's family weekend at Grand Valley State. This oasis gave us just what we needed. Plenty of space and lots of things to do. We had a group of 13 and everyone enjoyed it. Angela was amazing. Got information to us really fast and was extremely helpful.

Summary: Our group of 8 adults, a teen, and two small children were very comfortable and had space to spread out. The basement was great for the small kids to have their own space. Big highlights are the kitchen and deck! Our only disappointment was not being able to use the amazing yard due to it being a goose dropping minefield, but I suppose that’s to be expected with a pond nearby. We also loved the beach gear and games. Great family vacation!

Summary: the property was amazing. We had young boys and having the pier, ping pong, and areas to run was wonderful. Lots of space for the sleeping many. It would have been nice to have 1 more full bath. So many extras were in the garage available for use and the kitchen had its of pluses too.

Summary: Decent size group of 16 guys checking out the area for golf. Great location as it’s only 15 mins from American Dunes in grand Haven. House is spacious. Could have fit more guys. But felt like we had ample space that we weren’t on top of each other. Nice patio/deck with grill that allowed us to just hang outside, cook and enjoy spending time with each other. House is modern and clean with everything else you can ask for entertainment for a group.

Summary: Our family of 14, from infant to age 75, found this house met all of our needs and expectations. There were many amenities throughout, from an extra baby monitor to everything you need at the beach. Also games for every age indoor and out. Beaches were close and other attractions within 15 minutes. We had a great time!

Summary: From the moment we drove up to the property, we all kept saying, “This is better than we ever expected!”, and we kept saying it throughout our stay at Dashy’s Destination. Angela was always available and accommodated our needs for extra beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. even before we arrived. She stayed in touch throughout our visit. The property is set on a vacation wonderland that’s ready for lots of memory making! We had a large group with lots of interests and there was something for everyone- kayaks, games, arcade games, quiet time at the pond, beach time, s’mores around the campfire, cozy naps (we loved the mattresses!), basketball, and more! Every person had a great time! We also loved the size of the home, in that everyone also had their own space. It was a trip to remember, and this incredible home and property were a large part in making that happen. We definitely recommend!

Angela always has a lot of additional items for use on her properties (beach chairs, towels, kiddie pools and other kids toys, and all kinds of games and activities). Summary: Great property for large family gathering! Angela has thought of everything you might need to stay at the property and have plenty to do. We also took advantage of nearby Pickleball courts, golfed, and went to parks for sunset over Lake Michigan. Great location and very nice, comfortable house for all of us.
