Positive: The host is incredibly responsive and such a pleasure to deal with. He was extremely flexible with us and quick to help. We also loved how dog friendly it was! The location is prime, super accessible to everything. Having dedicated parking was very relieving.
Negative: The sheets were not washed in between guests. We had to rewash all the sheets and duvet covers because the smell was very overwhelming and we could not fall asleep.

Positive: The neighborhood was safe and fun, and proximity to grocery store was perfect. The house itself was lovely and had everything we needed. Parking was in the alley behind the house and we were able to do so early which was very helpful.

Positive: Great location and loved the neighborhood. Nicely updated, fully stocked kitchen. Loved the front porch and garage. Beds were comfortable.
Negative: Two full baths were very small and would have been challenging with more than four people. AC worked great but it was difficult to keep everyone comfortable as the basement was freezing, the main floor was comfortable but the upstairs bedrooms were warm.

Positive: Fantastic location and great 3 level row house with good separation of space. The basement level is self contained with bedroom, office area and bath for more privacy. Nicely equipped updated and functional kitchen with some pantry staples. There are supermarkets close by and an incredible range of restaurants only steps away. The private and relatively secure parking area off the alley in back is a huge plus if you are going to have a car as street parking over 2 hours is reserved for permanent residents and there are rarely open spots
Negative: It is at least a 15 minute walk to the nearest Metro stop, but you have to expect to do some walking in DC. It is an older house and plumbing is all functional but some was a bit creaky.
Summary: Great house to use as a base camp for a family sightseeing trip to DC!
