Positive: Like the authenticity of living in a Chinatown neighbourhood with the daily buzz when the sun comes up and goes down. Like the scents upon entering the room. The linens are well treated with clean furnitures. Like the larger than life fridge and heart warming microwave to heat up some delicious convenient food. Like the presence of Netflix and YouTube as my media companion. Like the very old school lift that amazed the me whom grew up in modern cities. Like the fact that have to walk thru the small lanes and streets to get to MRT Wat Mangkon and experience life of locals. What a 1 stone 2 birds move! Last but not least, like that the owner was checking in on my arrival.

Negative: Pillows and bed might be a tad soft for my individual liking and needs.

Positive: Clean, functional en-suite room with good ac, good shower & toilet, good wifi in a very central location. Host was very responsive. 50m away is a typical local restaurant where the food was really very good & the beer genuinely cold. Overall this is a great place to stay.
