3 Bedroom House in Hythe

A perfectly located detached home within 180 metres of Fishermans beach in Hythe and a short 4 minute walk to the high street. Sleeping up to 10 guests but equally personable for 2 we welcome both families and couples alike! Enjoy a modern scandi-coastal mix of design and decor with 3 large bedrooms, 2 high spec bathrooms, a large open plan lounge and dining room, separate "snug" with luxury sofa bed, downstairs toilet and well-equipped kitchen. Family friendly garden and off-road parking.
Recently renovated to a very high standard this wonderful detached house sits in a prominent corner position from Fishermans Beach and stands in a most convenient location for exploring Hythe and the surrounding areas. Formerly a 1920s general store all original features have been restored to conserve charm and character whilst the fresh scandi-inspired decoration offers a stylish yet very homely stay.

- Large open plan living area features a comfortable sofa area for watching the 50" Smart TV and backs on to the dining space which can seat 8 comfortably
- "Snug" room (which is quite large anyhow!) houses a luxury sofa-bed for an additional fourth bedroom along with a 40" smart TV
- A convenient downstairs toilet and wash basin
- High spec and well-equipped Kitchen including Smeg range cooker and blackboard wall for fun messages or things to do!
On the first floor

There are 3 large upstairs bedrooms each with a console table, mirror lamp and chair, bedside tables with reading lamps and a very spacious built-in wardrobe with ample storage. All bedrooms are lockable by key.
- The Master King has a double aspect to create a light airy space.
- The Super King can be easily be converted into two single beds for flexible sleeping arrangements
- The family room is home to a double bed and bunk to sleep four in total
There is a family bathroom, with freestanding bath, toilet, basin and large shower.
The second wash room, has luxurious walk-in shower, toilet and basin.
Shampoo and washes are available.

Summary: We stayed for a weekend with a group of friends for a wedding in the area and 74 By The Sea was a really lovely base for our few days in Hythe. The house is spacious (we were 8 adults!), with 2.5 bathrooms and plenty of common areas for sitting together. The house is decorate to a very high standard and kept spotless. It’s just a few minutes to the sea front from the house, the high street was charming and the area quiet. Would recommend to anyone!

Summary: We had a great stay in this beautiful house over the Christmas period. Hayley was a fantastic host both before and during our stay. The house is in a location which is so convenient for the beach and the town.Highly recommend!

Summary: Staying to visit Hythe for grandson’s birthday so very convenient to visit family a few hundred yards away. Property very clean and comfortable and host very friendly and nearby in case of any issues. Close to seafront and short walk to town centre. Would recommend if visiting Hythe

Summary: We had a wonderful week at 74 By The Sea, and they even provided glorious sunshine! Immaculate home with beautiful decor and everything we could need including towels, hairdryers, all the essentials and some luxuries such as lovely shampoo and conditioners in the amazing showers! Hayley and Tim were fantastic hosts and met us for check-in, very friendly and explaining what was what with the house. Lots to do around Hythe and we were not short of activities, managing to keep 5 children occupied all week! We would definitely come back here for another week “by the sea!”

Summary: Enjoyed our two-night girls break-away. 6 of us and plenty of space to relax and cook together. Seating is super comfy and the beds we're fabulous. Hayley was lovely meeting us at the door and showing us around. Five stars all round.

Summary: Perfect weekend break with friends to celebrate my wife's birthday. The accommodation was beautifully presented, well equipped and in a great location for the town or the beach. Very warm personal welcome from Hayley who showed us around the house. We had a lovely relaxing weekend and a fantastic meal at The Waterfront Restaurant. Lovely garden area for summer evenings.
