Positive: The cabin is ideally located, in beautiful natural forest but still close enough to Tannersville for buying essentials. There is ample parking out front. The kitchen has all the amenities you might need for a few days, and the bathrooms are nicely wood-panelled and very clean. There is a large wrap-around deck with a picnic table, and the hot tub makes for great relaxation after a day of hiking or skiing. Our only regret is that we didn't plan more time to spend at the cabin itself, in the evenings, as we were out hiking for most of the three days we were there!
Negative: There wasn't really anything to dislike -- there was a maintenance guy fixing the wood stove when we arrived, but he was very friendly and actually helped show us how to use our digit-code to lock and unlock the front door locking system. For the rest of our stay, everything worked perfectly (electricity, water, heating, hot tub, fridge, etc.), so no complaints.
Summary: The perfect cozy cabin for a short mountain gettaway with hiking friends or a partner.

Positive: This was a perfect place to stay during our winter vacation! The location is great- only 5 minutes drive to Hunter Mountain ski resort where we went every day and 5 minutes to a big supermarket. The cabin is spacious and has big glass sliding doors and windows offering spectacular views of the forest all around you. Everything was very clean. A great bonus was the game shelf with lots of cool board games, books and even toys for kids! The communication with the host was great!
Negative: For my liking the lighting in the sitting area was just a little bit dim for comfortable reading and playing games after dark, but other than that I can say only good things about the place.

Positive: Very warm and comfortable. The pellet stove was a nice touch. We also used the hot tub each night and really enjoyed it. It was large enough for us to spend evenings in comfortably after skiing during the day.
