This is a grade II listed stone cottage which was once the village Bakery and as such retains many of its original features including the original Victorian iron oven door, beams and flag stone floors.
It is a cosy cottage with a good feel and is fully equipped to a high standard and has a wood burning stove in the living room.
Ideal for visiting Woodstock, Blenheim Palace, Oxford,Stratford Upon Avon and Soho Farmhouse and London.
It sleeps 4 in a king size bedroom and twin bedroom with a large bathroom. The entrance hall was once the oven leading into a living room with french windows onto a large courtyard. The kitchen dining area has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Outside is a terraced area with a table, chairs and a bar-b-q. and views across the countryside.
Fresh crisp white linen and towels are provided as well as kitchen cloths.

Summary: The Old Baker House was idyllic; it had oodles of charm and all the mod coms, comfortable sleeping too. All while nestled in the wonderful village of Stonesfield. Enjoyed the newly revived local pub, make many locals and Rosamund was the best! Thanks for a perfect stay!

Summary: We had a wonderful time. The house was fully outfitted with everything we needed. Comfortable beds and a huge tub. The off street parking was such a bonus. The location was great too. Nothing in the Cotswold was too far away.

Summary: Quaint & cozy cottage. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed watching the sunset on the patio. Definitely need a car as no restaurants in walking distance. Ros was a great host & had detailed information on restaurants & activities in the area.

Summary: This is such a quaint cottage In a small quiet village. The owner lives next door and the cottage was clean and well presented with all towels and basic amenities in place. Prosecco and flowers was a nice touch. Be warned the stairs are quite steep in keeping with the age of the property but this shouldn’t be a problem for most. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s lots to see and do nearby.
