Eleftheria Villa is a new-built villa, located in the coastal village of Maleme, 350m from the beach. The beautiful beach road of Maleme – ideal for walks in late afternoon, when the sun goes down – starts 800m away from the villa. There are many taverns and bars, where you can seat by the sea. West Crete is the side of the island where some of the most renowned beaches of Greece are found; Falassarna, Elafonisi, Paleochora. As you drive along the mountain roads you will meet many small traditional taverns with homemade cretan products.
The outdoor area of the villa is small but well cared… The pool area is surrounded by high trees offering privacy to the swimmers, but at the same time the pool gets sun all day long. There is a barbecue next to the pool, an outdoor area in the shade and sun loungers around the pool. There is a parking space in the fenced property.
The villa has 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 persons. The big open room on the ground floor combines the sitting room, the dining room and the kitchen. Summary: There are very nice landlords, a great house and everything is very clean and nicely furnished. The only thing that bothers me is the car wash place. It‘s sometimes very loud.

Summary: We have just returned from a fantastic 10 day stay at Eleftheria Villa. We were family of 6 adults and 1 teen and all us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Villa looks exactly as shown on the photos and the pool is larger than it appears on the photos. There was more than enough room for all of us both inside and outside the villa and plenty of sun beds/ seating. The Villa is located in a private spot and there was a sea view from both bedroom balconies and the pool. All bedrooms have air con. The beach is only a 5-10 minute walk from the villa. We spent some evenings eating in (there is a mini supermarket for essentials a 2-3 minute walk away and a larger supermarket approximately 10-15 minutes walk away) during our stay and others eating out at local restaurants (we would recommend the black lantern, the Wave restaurant and Menta for eating out). Maleme itself is quite smalll with a few local restaurants all within a 10-20 minute walk from the bill. Although Maleme is quite quiet, the buses are easy and cheap to use to travel into nearby Chania, Platanias and Agias Marina ad they run from early in the morning until late at night. You can also book coach excursions and trips on little fun train. The owners of the villa are lovely and come to clean the villa and pool every 3-4 days. We will definitely book this villa again in the future! If you book, the little ginger cat that comes to visit is very friendly (he stays outside). Please look after him 😊.

Summary: Exactly as advertised. Roomy, modern, well equipped kitchen with very modern appliances, spotlessly clean, lovely well maintained pool. The owners could not have done more to make our holiday perfect. Situated in a quiet part of Maleme with plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating for eight people. I cannot recommend this property highly enough and would not hesitate to return.

Summary: The villa was gorgeous, and a convenient 5 minute walk to the beach. Very comfortable and a good home base to explore Crete for me and my three teens. Nice amenities in the pool and two outdoor eating areas which we didn't get to use much because it was not warm enough yet. Was not too impressed in all honesty with the town of Maleme. We were there the second week of April, so before the real season begins. Maybe it would be different when the season is in full swing, but Maleme seems kind of quiet and fewer businesses than some of the other resort towns West of Chania. The really stunning beaches are on the West side -- Balos, Elafonissi, Falassarna -- but these are all within an hour's drive by car which is no problem at all. The beach at Maleme is perfectly fine, nothing to write home about.

Summary: It was a wonderful location. The house is spacious for 2 families. Everything was well prepared and clean. There you find all you need for a great vacation. By foot you can reach the beach and restaurants. For further exploration a car is very handy. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come again.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa. It was very well equipped with everything you could ever need and was spotlessly clean. Eleftheria was very welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect for us as it was so quiet but it was only about a 20 minute steady walk down to the sea and tavernas so plenty of time to walk off the good food and alcohol. The large swimming pool and outside spaces were excellent. We would have no hesitation to stay here again.

Summary: We had a lovely holiday in the villa it is in a perfect area it’s modern and the garden is really nice and quiet the Pool is excellent. We got on realy well with the owner and her and her husband they have done well with this villa we would recommend this to anyone Niki x
