Summary: We had a lovely week on the mountain in the Alsace. The weather was very good and we enjoyed the beautiful view on the village and church and also on the Rhine valley and the far away Schwarzwald. We also loved the nature and the silence up there. The house was comfortable and cozy. The kitchen well equipped. About the road to the house, this was no problem for my citroen C5. Since our holiday we regularly dream / discuss the possibility to buy such a spot in the Alsace. So when it is for sale.....

Summary: The house is lovely. It's quiet, there room enough, it's fully equiped, nice decorated, big and the area is beautiful. The view is breathtaking: over Thannenkirch, over the valley you can look all the way to Germany. You can walk beautiful, Colmar and Strasbourg are at hand, also Riquewihr and Ribeauvillé. On the scale from 1 to 10 I would say: 9! Very good!

Summary: We stayed in the lovely house for two weeks with our baby. The house has has beautiful surroundings (mountain/hills/forest) and an enormous garden. It's very quiet but not far from the village of Thannenkirch. It is very central in the Alsace region and it is in the heart of the Route des Vins. Trips to Colmar, Riquewihr, Kaysersberg and Selestat are max 30 minutes by car. The house is very good equiped with anything you'd need during the stay. We stayed a lot around the house to enjoy the garden and the nature. The views from the garden in the direction of Thannenkirch are stunning. On arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of wine, milk, bread and soft drink and felt very welcome from the start. We are quite sure we will return again!
