A perfect place to relax, enjoy the countryside whilst appreciating the sensational views towards the sea from every angle of the house. Superb surroundings with large terrace, olive grove, fruit trees and own organic vegetable garden. Great location for families or couple who like a large outdoor area where they are able to sit, relax and for children to play. There is air-conditioning in all the rooms.
Interior: on the ground floor there's the lounge area with fireplace, kitchen/dining, 2 double/twin bedroom and 2 bathrooms. On the first floor there's a large double bedroom, small sitting area and bathroom. All rooms have flyscreens.
Exterior: outside kitchen with old style wood oven with table and chairs. Extensive outdoor area with ample place to park.
Sensational surroundings: Located only 1.5kms from the village of Sant'Ambrogio where one can shop at the minimarket, eat at the Pizzeria or seafood restaurant that is located in the centre of the village. The pebbly/sandy beach of Sant'Ambrogio is 2 kms from the house, there's free or paid parking nearby or you can park your car in the village and walk via the steps that lead to the beach (need to cross-over the SS113).

Summary: A beautiful villa with plenty of room for six adults, we enjoyed our stay at Deodata. Impeccably clean with plenty of supplies we were happy to relax and enjoy the view. We especially loved the pool, essential after the walk back up the hill from Sant’ Ambrogio. The garden provided fruit and vegetables and we even fired up the pizza oven. A very special Sicilian stay.

Summary: We had a wonderful week at this villa and would definitely recommend it! The highlight is the amazing view and lovely pool. The interior of the villa was spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped and we enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen and bbq as well. We picked vegetables from the garden which was an added bonus!

Summary: The villa was beautiful and the views from the garden stunning. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Peter and Carmelina were extremely welcoming and allowed us to totally make the villa our home for the 2 weeks. When we had any questions they were always quick to respond and extremely helpful - we could have not wished for better hosts. Their local knowledge was also very valuable. After we left they even took one of our sons and his girlfriend to the railway station!!!

Summary: We couldn't have chosen a more beautiful property than Villa Deodata. Peter and Carmelina have created an exceptional home and were exceptional hosts. The location, slightly above the cute little town of Sant'Ambrogio, and near the busier town of Cefalu was perfect. The views were phenomenal and my favorite thing everyday was eating breakfast out by the pool and looking at La Rocca in Cefalu and the Tyrrhenian Sea. The care and attention to details in the house and the garden are wonderful. We didn't get to meet Carmelina, but Peter met us and showed us around the property and was quick to respond to our questions. Carmelina created a wonderful and thoughtful binder of information regarding the area and we used it a lot to determine outings. We were sorry to leave this wonderful house and hope we can return in the future. Thank you, Peter and Carmelina, for your warm welcome and letting us stay in your lovely home.

Summary: The villa is in an absolutely beautiful spot up in the hills above Cefalu and the views from the villa are spectacular. It is in a peaceful setting surrounded by a large private colourful garden. The villa has everything you need for a great holiday. It is a short drive or 35 min walk to the lovely village of Sant'Ambrogio where there is a great choice of small friendly places to eat. Try the cookery course by Chef Ambrogio at his restaurant there, Osteria Baccus - he is a delightful character and a great chef. It is only a 15 min drive to Cefalu, a beautiful old town which has something for everyone - beach, bars - lively and quiet, and loads of different eateries to suit all budgets. Palermo is an hour away by car and a great city to visit -despite the hairy driving! We were very unlucky with the weather even for May, but the fact we all loved it despite that, is a great testament. Our host, Peter could not have been more helpful and was available anytime. We would definitely return even at this time of year again.

Summary: A lovely villa, impeccably clean, beautifully appointed and equipped. Peter and Carmelina were excellent hosts, always available and helpful. Small village of San Ambrosio was friendly and welcoming. One of the best rentals we've ever had and we've done a lot of traveling.

Summary: We loved our stay at this beautiful villa. The views are spectacular, and it has a lovely property and outdoor spaces. We also loved the interior — it's beautifully decorated and well appointed. We cooked several meals in and made great use of the well-equipped kitchens (both indoor and outdoor). Carmelina and Peter were extremely responsive. They lined up Gainfranco to cook for us one night...it was a highlight of our trip — the meal was delicious, and we had lots of leftovers for the following night! Thank you for being such wonderful hosts, Carmelina and Peter. We would love to return one day!

Summary: The house, its architecture and it‘s views over the coastline are stunning! It offers everything you need, even a big garden area with olive trees and homegrown tomatoes, zucchini etc. which you can use for your own purpose, not to mention the beautiful pool. The hosts are amazing. Very friendly and welcoming and you can really feel that they put a lot of sweat, heart and attention to detail in their house. Communication beforehand and during our stay was simple and fast. They made us feel like in heaven and we would have loved to stay longer! Thank you Peter & Carmelina

Summary: This was a perfect place for our family holiday, amazing villa, everything we needed. The view from the pool is amazing. We even made pizza in the outside pizza oven. Peter the host looked after us very well, Be aware that you need a car for everything here, the village is too far & steep hill to walk.
