This modern, fully customized Tiny House is a unique adult getaway that will exceed your expectations. Walk down a sloped pathway, unattached from our main house, to your own private paradise. (Not suitable for a wheelchair or for someone with challenging mobility issues)
This rental is perfect for a long weekend or maximum 10 day stay.
Just a short 11 minute walk will take you to Moonlight Beach with surfing, swimming, fire pits, snack bar & bathrooms. Have fun walking through our fabulous Downtown Encinitas which is filled with local eateries, brew pubs and coffee houses. Adjacent to us is Cottonwood Creek Park if you like pickleball, tennis or relaxing on the grass.
Cottonwood Creek Tiny House feels spacious with its vaulted ceiling, large picture window and a double sliding glass door which opens out onto a nice deck, expanding your sense of space. It has a fully outfitted kitchen, sitting area with fireplace, nice size bathroom and a comfy queen size bed for two. Watch Netflix or Amazon on the 42" flat screen Smart TV. Our tiny house provides all the amenities of a larger home, but in an immaculate smaller space.
The shed adjacent to the Tiny House can be used for storage of larger items, luggage -surfboards, etc..
We encourage you to be outdoors surrounded by palms, fruit trees and succulents. Enjoy your coffee on the deck in the mornings and fire up the Weber grill for dinner at sunset. For happy hour sit on cushioned chairs around the fire table under the lit gazebo listening to your own music. Entertain yourself on the Mini Putting Green, play games or do some yoga; while enjoying the ocean breeze. All for your own private use.
2 Bicycles, body boards and beach supplies are waiting for you.
An active adult wonderland, enjoy bike trails, surfing, hiking, beach walks, golfing and many more activities at your finger tips.
The Coaster train is within walking distance and will take you(and your bikes) north to Oceanside for a stroll on the pier or south to the Gaslamp District Downtown/Harbor with stops at Cedros Shopping district and Old Town.

Summary: Such a great stay! The hosts down to each granular detail had such intention and heart. My boyfriend and I wanted to do a local vacation for his birthday and this property was beyond expectation. Close to the strip, grocery stores, parks, beaches, surf spots just a great stay-in place with a covered fire pit. It rained while we were there sadly but it was such a perfect and cozy spot even on the rainy days. So grateful for the hosts - thank you so much! God bless!

Summary: Marianne and Doug’s tiny home is simply lovely. Although it is a tiny home, it feels spacious as everything is so well thought out. It has everything you might need and more. Everything was clean and in like new condition both outside and in. Although we did not get a chance to meet Marianne or Doug, communication was always prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend their place to anyone looking for a great spot within walking distance of Encinitas town centre and the beach!

Summary: We had such a good stay at the tiny house! Cozy, comfortable, and extremely cute. Everything in the place is well thought out, practical, and charming. The outdoor setup is great too. Hosts were super welcoming and responded quickly to questions. Loved the location, right near downtown, the beach, and lots of conveniences. If you think the listing looks good - it's even better!

Summary: Had a wonderful experience staying at this tiny house. The thoughtful details with decorating and functionality were so appreciated. All the essentials were there! The binder full of recommendations by the hosts became my bible for my short stay. The location was superb, walkable to most everything in downtown Encinitas including moonlight beach. I didn’t want to leave! Marianne and Doug were a pleasure to correspond with and meet. Would absolutely stay here again!
