Positive: The host stayed in the adjoining property and was there to meet us at the arranged time. We were there for work so just 1 night and then an early get up. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. There is a hot tub available for those who request it and a garden area with a pond. We would definitely stay again, lots of nice touches - books, board games and having a Murphy bed rather than a sofa bed was a great touch. Our friends reported that it was very comfortable.

Negative: There was absolutley nothing to dislike with the accommdation, the host and the area. There was one small thing that took us by surprise when we got a call a couple of days before our booking telling us about a refundable bond that was required. There is no mention of a bond in the Booking.com info but I was happy to pay it and I understand why one may be needed. However it should be clear in the Booking.com information, so we can take account of it when booking. It was an easy transaction and the refund was already in our account before we got back home.

Summary: Would definitely go again, host was great. Milk and biscuits ready for a brew on arrival!
