This wonderful rustic Adirondack property sits on a double wooded lot. Locally known as the "gateway" to the Adirondacks, Woodgate is a quaint community with old fashion charm, conveniently located just 15 minutes from Old Forge.
Our camps offer plenty of space for your outdoor fun.
The Enchanted Forest Water Safari is a short drive away, as well as many stores and shops to explore while visiting Old Forge.
Miles of hiking are very popular during autumn and in the fall there is simply no better place to set camp for your tour of the High Peaks in all their autumnal bliss than right here.

Summary: Great place for the price. we knew about the yard based on rain. suggestions would be to clean up brush piles and garbage. We were unable to discard our trash in cans due to them being full and concern for bears. also the first picture is misleading, because you cannot see the lake from the property. We couldn’t find the lake access, but we also didn’t ask. All that said, they are trivial concerns based on the value of the price. The place had everything we could have asked for ( except a cookie sheet. lol). bottom line. great place for the price. host was awesome. Look forward to staying again.

Summary: Great location, the proximity to trails is wonderful. The house is so cozy and also very roomy! The backyard was a quiet and fun place for our dog to explore. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again! The only critique I have is the beds are a bit on the small side but other than that we loved everything about this relaxing cabin!

Summary: Wonderful stay. Clean, well equipped and well explained. Owners responded quickly to my asks. For those looking for 5 star accommodations in the ADK- you’ve missed the point of being in the ADK! This cabin had much more than the basics. We would definitely rent again.

Summary: Our stay was amazing , beautiful home ,great location to everything you want to do. Communication was quick . Description was point on. Only complaint is if reading reviews ,this home does not have a screen porch or use of a dock like one review stated., the property next door has that not this property. We paid extra to use the private lake across the street . The backyard is unusable do to past flooding but there is plenty of room in front yard ( I was aware prior) If you are looking to escape technology this definitely is the perfect home . We would definitely return

Summary: Nice relaxing stay in the Adirondacks. Lovely screened in porch to enjoy the nights. Spend our days down by the water in the dock. Beautiful. Owner very responsive and friendly.

Summary: Joe and his brother were very nice and accommodating. The cabin was clean and comfortable with a lot of necessities provided. The screened in front porch and deck were very convenient as well as a nice picnic table by the fire pit. Short walk across route 28 to dock on the lake!
