Beautiful cottage surrounded by lovely landscaping. Just a 10 minute drive to the beach and roughly 15 minutes to downtown Charleston. You will enjoy spending time in this 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage right in the center of James Island. From the time you pull in the driveway, you will notice the attention to detail. Pack your bags for a trip to Charleston! The property is fully equipped with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, sheets, towels. In addition, there is toilet paper and paper towels. While staying at this property, you will enjoy the screened in patio with a dining table for 4. There are also two comfortable chairs for sipping your morning coffee on the porch. When you feel like going to the beach, don’t bother packing your beach chair as there are 2 chairs along with boogie boards and beach towels. When you come home from the beach, you may even want to use the outdoor shower! Very private shower and the back of the house. In the evenings, whether you want to go out or stay in, there are tons of restaurants close by. However, when you feel like staying in, there is a grill at the property and a perfect area outside great for cooking out and enjoying the exterior features of this home.
There is even a fire pit right by the outdoor seating area guests are welcome to use. Whether you are coming for a long relaxing weekend or even a business trip, this home has it all! Summary: You can't beat the location of this rental. We were not more than 15 to 30 minutes max to everything we chose to do and see. The little bungalow is just adorable and the bed slept better than any hotel I have ever stayed at. After a day at the beach, the shower was like being at a spa! Having chairs and towels provided for us to use for the beach was an appreciated cost saving treat!! This rental is stocked with anything you should need or could possibly forget to pack.The host and her husband were the sweetest and I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the screened in porch watching the squirrels play and listening to the birds and napping on the comfy couch in the afternoons! If we return to the area this is marked as my preferred spot to stay.Thank you again for your hospitality and sharing such an amazing little place to escape and enjoy!!

Summary: Great place to stay. Everything you need is already there. The only suggestion would be to clear the vegetation from the driveway. The branches did run against our vehicle when entering or exiting the bungelo.

Summary: If we return to Charleston this is the first property I would try to book. Beautiful property great host and good location. Our modem for the tv died and had to be replaced.To us no big deal as we were not there to watch tv. Returned at the end of the day to find a bottle of wine and a basket of fresh salad greens from the garden! Furthermore they insisted on compensating our cost for the inconvenience. This property was everything we expected and more. We give this one five stars!

Summary: This place was great. It was very clean and very well stocked. Perfect for a couple. The location is perfect, can get to Charleston in about 15 mins and Folly beach in 10. Me and my girlfriend were able to go and explore and see so much but not have to drive a lot and that’s nice. The garden in the backyard is absolutely beautiful and you can tell they put a lot of hard work into it. The screened in porch was a relaxing spot to end long days of exploring downtown Charleston and walking the magnolia(a must do) and cypress gardens. Would definitely stay here again… oh and the shower totally lives up to the hype!

Summary: We came to attend a friend’s wedding and the quaint little cottage was the perfect place for us to stay. The weather was perfect and the screened in porch with hammock swing was well attended while watching the birds and squirrels play in a beautifully landscaped yard.

Summary: I highly recommend this cute little cottage. It is a perfect place for a couple to visit the Charleston area. Close to everything. It is clean, well appointed, convenient to everything and the hosts are wonderful! They care about their guest and want them to feel at home. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back.

Summary: We had a great time staying here on our honeymoon. Everything was very convenient to get to, only 15 minutes to downtown or the beach. The park pass was great for getting to the best secluded beach spot. We loved sitting on the screen porch during the thunderstorms!
