Positive: If you’re dreaming of pure countryside peace surrounded by emerald-green hills, book Agriturismo Campo del Pillo without a second thought. The location is stunning - exactly the quiet, pastoral setting we were searching for, and it recharged our batteries so completely that we kept extending our stay in our minds. Our room was spotless, neatly arranged, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Each morning began with a generous farmhouse breakfast: fragrant local cheeses, cold cuts, and jams all produced locally and bursting with flavor. Host Fabrizio embodies Italian hospitality. Although we arrived later than planned, he greeted us like old friends and with much care. Later, He personally opened the jacuzzi so we could unwind and relax. Throughout our visit, he checked in with genuine warmth, offered thoughtful tips on hiking trails and village trattorias, and made absolutely sure we lacked for nothing. Campo del Pillo is one of those rare places that feels both homely and special. Perfect for slowing down, breathing deep, and savoring life’s simple pleasures. We recommend it wholeheartedly and already look forward to our return.

Positive: Super host, very caring, friendly, nice tips on the beautiful environment. Super super breakfast. We had the cottage and it is fabulous. The pictures don't show how roomy it really is. Very nice bed, shower, kitchen, table, outside private terrace with only birds singing and bumblebees humming as a soundtrack. Stunning views. It is such a nice place to be. The area itself is typically volcanic ruffed. The house is very close to the famous Pietra Bismantova. We climbed it and saw snowtopped mountains of the Appenines and the whole area around for miles, visited a lovely mountain lake lago Calamone for example. Lots to see and do. Highly recommended!
Negative: The pictures of the house and cottage may need a little update! The main house is further modernized, the stable part on the left side is now a studio with windows! The cottage we had is much roomier than it appears on the pictures. There is also a kitchen table with four chairs inside so you don't have to sit on the bed like so many b&b's have as their only offer. It makes it very comfortable for longer stay

Positive: We had an amazing experience at Fabrizio's place. The farm is located next to a stunning nature reserve and the view from the farm is amazing. Fabrizio was so kind to us and hosted us with all of his heart. We felt at home from the first second we entered the farm in the best way possible. The room was cozy, the sitting areas and the pool outside are pleasant and inviting, the breakfast was great and generous. Fabrizio’s recommendations were perfect - for restaurants and hiking trails in the area. Fabrizio - We can’t thank you enough!

Positive: The place is located in nature and is close (by car) to many hiking roads and nature tracks you can take. The host, although not speaking English, was very nice, and kind and did his best to make our stay a pleasant one.
Negative: I think the biggest disappointment was the difference between our expectations that were based on the comments we read and the reality we faced. When a place is rated 9.6 with exceptional reviews, promises (based on the reviews - not the description of the host) exceptional breakfast, a lot of things to do, places to visit, etc... and you don't get it, you get disappointed. The place is fine (maybe it is much better during the summer), the breakfast was not very good and far from expected based on the reviews, and also we hadn't a lot of things to do at the place so we spent most of our time outside and came back mainly to sleep. We visited significantly better places during our holiday in Italy that were rated 9.1 I think an honest rating of the place will be around 8.5 during the winter. Maybe higher during the summer when there are more possible activities.
