Summary: Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the first waterfall which leads to a creek that runs along the backyard. The next one is on the way to the main drag. Saw 5 , one from our boat ride on Seneca lake and again on our ride around the lake which is worth it. There is a beautiful park area at the top with nice walking path. Very peaceful. Due to our health we were unable to do Watkins Glen State Park but did watch a video so we could feel like we saw it. Great area for a long weekend. We were there last weekend in September until Wednesday. Great time, no crowds. Also took a ride to Corning Glass Museum. The house is older but well equipped. Nice layout. Plenty of games and a radio, was playing on arrival, with CD player. Came in handy since we didn't have much TV, Roku. Beds were comfortable. Check in was easy along with communication. Owner even stopped by when the electric went out to give us an update. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: My boys loved fishing in the creek behind the house and we all enjoyed the waterfall at the end of the quiet street! The house was as expected from the listing and reviews that we read and knowing that it is an older home. It would be nice to add a door to the bathroom from the kitchen. Also, the pocket door to the left bedroom was broken, though we were able to make do. Kitchen cabinets could use a thorough clean-out and cleaning. We had to pre-wash some pots/pans before use due to dead bugs. But overall, we enjoyed it as a base for the outdoor activities that brought us to the area!

Summary: We had a nice stay, the house had everything we could need. We did bring dogs and the area is great for them, there are falls and fields. The house was clean and we had a power failure and we contacted the company and they took care of it immediately. We would come back to the area again

Summary: This is a nice cottage near the end of a quiet road with a waterfall at the end of the road and a creek behind the house. There was a nice deck, grill and fire pit, but the weather and other activities we had planned did not allow us the time to use them. There are 2 bedrooms at opposite sides of the cottage with beautiful quilts on each bed. Nice touch with a bowl of candy on the dining table. We would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to others.

Summary: Location was < 2 miles south of downtown Watkins Glen so very convenient to everything. Maybe 12 minutes to WGI. House was older, but everything worked. Proud owner who took care of any issues and decorated for the season. Also a bit of racing motif with checkered curtains and pics of past races so if you’re a race fan, its cool. Upon arrival music playing and a dish of candy awaited. Very quiet location with popular scenic falls two lots away. Nice backyard with stream running through and fire pit with plenty of wood and starting fluid. Many other properties supply 8-10 pieces of wood and then you need to buy more. We had multiple fires and there was still plenty of wood remaining. Probably not an issue for weekend guests, but for those staying a while there is no washer or dryer or dishwasher. Laundromat is only about 1/2 mile away though. Microbrew less than 1/2 mile and two more on main street. One bathroom as advertised, but only one door. The door from the kitchen has only a curtain. For a couple or maybe family with a child or two ok, but not for sharing. Only one ac in the living room so expect the back bedroom could be warm on the hot summer nights. Probably not many of those and there is a floor fan. Nice dining room and pretty much fully equipped kitchen. We cooked and ate many meals here & found it comfortable. Working vacation so dining room also doubled as work area. Internet was fine. No issues with zoom calls or connectivity during the stay.

Summary: We had a lovely time staying here with me, my husband, my daughter and our pup. The property is beautiful— backs up to a creek and there are two trails nearly where you can walk to waterfalls. So close to wineries and Watkins Glenn, and the owners are super responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Came up for a race at WGI with my wife and 6 year old and couldn't of picked a better spot. Don't think I ever drove more than 10 minutes between downtown Watkins Glen, the track, and Seneca Lake. My son fell in love with the creek waterfalls and swimming hole that were right in the backyard. Inside could use a little updating but still a very comfy warm place to spend time with the family and enjoy the beautiful surrounding area. Property manager was also incredibly accommodating and communicative. Answered all our questions instantly. Would stay again.
