Positive: Margo helped me with everything I needed, even before arriving to Karimunjawa with the ferry tickets, also organizing daily transfers by motorbike to Kemujan for diving (thanks Wawan). For breakfast you can choose from a variety of options, coffee is great. Possibility of delicious dinner that is different everyday, mostly vegetarian options. Perfect laundry service.

Summary: A very special place, extremely kind and helpful people, delicious food… One of the best sunsets I’ve seen in Indonesia

Positive: Super nice staff, friendly environment where to meet other travelers, great common area

Negative: For dinner there could be more options, some fish would have been nice in such location on the seaside, we were eating meat and vegetables the whole week. On the other hand the dinner is 4 euros so I understand, but would be happy to pay more and have some fish options.

Positive: It feels like an oasis. The grounds are spacious and well kept with lots of places to sit and relax. They served lunch and dinner, and breakfast, so you never had to leave if you didn’t want. And the pier was fantastic for going in the water and watching the sunset.

Negative: Nothing!

Summary: Fabulous stay! It has a large space for yoga, hammocks, and the owner takes great interest in each guest. Fabulous place

Positive: A one of its own place in Indonesia for us so far. Developed and run with care, eye for detail and has all you need for visiting an island like Karimunjawa. Great location, good swimming spot and very friendly and caring staff! Margo and her team are amazingly kind people and run it with passion for the place.

Positive: We loved the ambience around Alma Kita, from the moment we arrived it was obvious that this small resort was special. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and it is very easy to spend the day around the resort and see no one as there is a small number of rooms, for us, a real plus. There is a dedicated quiet spot for meditation, relaxation etc. Margo and her staff are very welcoming and made sure all our needs were catered for. There is a strong eco - friendly culture in the resort which I particularly liked. We ate in most nights, the food was delicious and cheap. Breakfast was also a treat with western options which included delicious banana pancakes which I highly recommend. The rooms were cleaned every day and the bed was very comfortable.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in Alma Kita. Comfortable, quiet with good food. Ideal for a relaxing trip away from busy schedu

Positive: Our stay at Alam Kita was truly delightful! The food was exceptional, served with warmth and generosity by the fantastic staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our time there even more enjoyable. The place itself was stunning, offering beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. It's important to note, though, that since the apartments were partially open, we did encounter various animals both inside and near our accommodation. However, despite this, the experience was wonderful. I'd highly recommend Alam Kita for its great hospitality, delicious food, and the natural beauty that surrounds it.
