The location is absolutely breathtaking – during the day you have stunning views of the ocean, and at night you can sit back and enjoy the stars. ✨ The accommodation is spotless and equipped with everything you need. But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the hosts, Eddy and Patricia. They went above and beyond to help us with anything we asked, no matter how big or small. They thought along with us, shared laughs, and made us feel completely at home. At the same time, if you prefer more privacy, this is still the perfect place. You can retreat to your own space where the only “disturbances” come from the cheerful calls of birds or a little greeting from a gecko 🦎. Truly a gem on Karimunjawa – we’ll never forget this experience.

Positive: The last thing I told the owners was that our stay in Karimunjawa wouldn’t have been the same without The Secret. The property is beautiful and welcoming, designed in a style that blends perfectly with the natural surroundings and respects the environment. Cleanliness and comfort are of the highest level. We were welcomed and cared for with great kindness, without missing anything. If we ever come back to Karimunjawa, it will definitely be at The Secret.

Positive: Loved pretty much everything. Staff were incredible, we’re really helpful and always had a smile on their faces. Location is a bit out of town but not far enough to be an issue and means you are closer to sunset beach. Hiring a motorbike is a good idea.
