The lake is 400+ acres but has a sparsely populated shoreline which helps keep the lake traffic at a comfortable level
Take advantage of the large level lot on the lakeside of the cabin. Perfect for yard games and sitting by the fire at dusk.
For those who like fishing, we have Walleyes, Northerns, Crappies, Sunnys and Bass galore in this medium sized lake. There are also Muskies prowling around these waters but they're more difficult to catch.
Ducks, geese are daily visitors and occasionally a bald eagle will also do a "fly by". This lake is home to many nesting Loons. There is nothing like the call of a Loon to make you feel like you're in the wilderness.
A little country store is only a couple miles away in case you forget some basic necessities. It also has live bait and a liquor store attached.
Alexandria is only 10 minutes away. It has big city amenities with a small town feel. You can find grocery, hardware, and sporting goods stores. Also rental and repair shops for boats, bikes, water toys and autos. Plenty of restaurants and bars make the nightlife is inviting. The boutiques, antique shops and specialty stores make this town a shopper paradise.
With many parks, bike trails, and even an amusement park, you can always find something to do in town.
Excellent wineries are only a short drive away and a couple micro-brew houses are right in Alex.
Andes Tower Hills is a only a 10 minute drive for skiing, snowboarding and tubing for some winter time fun.

Summary: House was great it was clean even better than pictures. Has more than 1 fridge which having more people is a plus. Yard was flat to lake so easy access to the lake. Chuck and Debbie were great at responding to anything we had questions about, and they were very flexible on dates that had changed.Definitely stay there again and will also tell friends and family about this so they can have the same great experience we did.

Summary: We had a great time. Lots of activities; golfing, biking,, shopping, bon fires, swimming, sunning, and kayaking. Our hosts were great.

Summary: We had a great time at the Mill Lake Cabin! We had everything we needed and if there was something we did need or had a question, Chuck (the owner) was easy to reach! We loved the cabin, property and the lake. We were on the lake many times either fishing, tubing or just boating around and most times we had the lake to ourselves! Fishing was very good too! Ton of bass action for sure and plenty of keeper sunfish! We will definitely consider a return trip in the future!

Summary: The house was beautiful and fully furnished sitting close to beautiful Mill Lake. In the listing a hot tub was shown as an amenity but was no where to be found. We also were told we could have use of the pontoon but the owners were using it since their's wasn't in the water. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and sitting on the deck soaking up the sun. It was nice when we had questions because the owners live right next door. Thank you for a nice lake weekend up North!

Summary: We had beautiful weather, we enjoyed time outdoors on the deck with a great view of the lake. While we didnt use the bunk house, I could see kids having a great time out there in their own lil fort. We enjoyed our stay and our time in the Alexandria area. I would definatly stay again.

Summary: We had a great stay and would definitely book again here. The layout was great and bathrooms were very nice. We also had luck fishing and caught fish every time we went out.

Summary: Everything was great - The ease of checking in to checking out. The 3 bathrooms were great for 6 women staying there. The place is gorgeous: the view, the amenities and accommodations, the fire pit was nice and close and the owners were exceptional. We all enjoyed our stay and have booked again for next year.

Summary: The property is even better than in the photos. Great space for families, 3 bathrooms a plus. Loved that it was pet friendly. Use of the pontoon was one of my favorite things. Nice yard for games and hanging out.
