Summary: I loved it! Comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed the large table for a game of cards and the sauna after a dip in the lake. If I would advise of any improvements, it would be for a new stove for those of us who like to cook. Also, the kitchen sink was draining slow, and there was no garbage disposal. Please be aware, you will need to haul your garbage out yourself. I would however, stay here again! The view and swimming was wonderful!

Summary: Walking into this property felt like stepping back into childhood trips to our grandparents cottage. Large windows overlooking a wide expansive view of Lake Gogebic provided that on the water experience. We didn’t use the water as the reason for our trip to the area was to explore the waterfalls.

Summary: We stayed at this property for 4 nights and absolutely loved it! The house is HUGE! There were 4 adults and two kids in our group and we had more than enough room. The sauna and washer/dryer were a huge bonus! The boys were able to fish out of the canoe and we had an amazing trip! Would definitely be willing to take the 10-hour drive again to stay here!

Summary: The location is great for a family with kids who like to play in the lake. We had so much fun a year ago that our kids asked to come back. There is so much to do and see outdoors in the area. We'd spend much of the day exploring trails and waterfalls and then return for evenings with kids playing in the lake. For our family, it was a great combination of adventure and R&R. Dawn has always been quick to respond and resolve any concerns. I have a feeling we'll be back. 🙂

Summary: Nice property, great location. There were a few issues. The boat dock is not in. Most families coming up will be fishing or playing on the lake. We were able to beach two medium size boats between the rocks but it's a tight fit. None of the outside power outlets were working. Was able to charge trolling motor batteries with a 100 ft extension cord in the house and under the door. Pans are provided but the are 1960s aluminum and burn everything. Good luck frying fish or eggs! Bring your own! Lastly the mosquitos are horrendous this year, obviously nobody's fault, just plan on lots of bug spray!
