This spacious 3000 square feet shore retreat is two short blocks to the beach. Ideally located for walking just about anywhere-to the ocean, to restaurants and to the train or bus line. What is most enjoyable about the house it one can relax by barbecuing and sipping cool drinks with family and friends on the spacious covered wrap around porch with refreshing breezes after soaking up the sun on the beach. The close proximity to the beach and no need to drive makes it stress free. The house is located on a corner and there are ocean views to the east and a lake view to the south. It is an especially great venue for resting and reducing stress from a long, work week. The local restaurants are amazing with delicious cuisine: Italian, seafood and Asian, and of course, a fantastic pizza restaurant a few blocks away on the Main Street. There is also a famous bakery in town with scrumptious breads and desserts.
This spacious home has a large living room, dining room, eat in kitchen, laundry room and bathroom on the first floor. On the second floor there are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is one twin and one full bed, two queen and one king for your comfort. On the third floor there is one bedroom with one queen size bed and one twin bed. There is also a small alcove on the third floor with a twin bed for an overnight guest. All cooking utensils (dishes, glasses, pots/pans, etc.) and linens/towels are provided. Utilities (hot water, gas and electric), family cable, and internet service (wireless) are included.
South Bradley Beach is a quiet neighborhood. Many of the residents spend the weekend relaxing. A favorite daily activity is walking and jogging on the continuous boardwalk stretching along the shoreline from Asbury Park to Sea Girt. The boardwalk spans seven beach communities: Asbury Park, Ocean Grove, Bradley Beach, Avon, Belmar, Spring Lake and Sea Girt. It is even less populated during the fall, spring and winter months providing a haven for cyclists, surfers and joggers/walkers.. If you want more excitement Atlantic City is one hour to the South and New York City is one hour to the North by car. Shopping and restaurants are abundant in the area. In fact, nearby Asbury Park is a mecca for entertainment and food enthusiasts. Six Flags Amusement Area is 30 minutes away by car. Walking, cycling, and jogging are popular activities among vacationers. Fishing is popular since the Shark River Inlet is within walking distance and caters to folks who want to do day and night fishing. At the nearby Belmar Marina, commercial and charter fishing boats offer daily fishing trips. Fishing for blues is fun and challenging since they put up a great fight! Whale Watching is a new popular activity in the area but the most popular daytime activity is going to the beach. Boogie boarding, parasailing, body surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, skimming and swimming are only some activities enjoyed by beach goers.

Summary: This house has great accommodations in most every way. The home has multiple beds that are large enough to sleep couples as well as several singles, makes it great to have multiple generations or families. The kitchen was very nicely sized and equipped. The bathrooms were good sized even though the vintage shower was a bit cozy. It was nice to have 3 toilets for the size of the home, many homes of that area and era don’t. The outdoor shower shed was awesome for getting home from the beach and minimizing the amount of beach you brought in with you. Common room furniture was comfy and accommodated a good size group. We did not get to utilize the porch as much as we had hoped to thanks to Ian turning up for over half our stay. The bit of time we did get to use it it was very nice size and there was plenty of furniture options to choose from. The way the blocks are laid out right in the area make it basically a block to the beach out the back door, so the location is awesome. Not to mention it is only a few blocks to the greatest pizza in the world Vic’s. My husband loves that he could walk there since the parking can at times be a challenge, he eats there at least once a day on our trips. Linda was very friendly and accommodating and flexible for my parents. She was also very accessible with calls to answer questions as well as calling us when she received notice that internet service was experiencing an interruption. She also provides linens which blows my southern mind how many in the area do not. This was a great rental experience and a very comfortable stay. As close to home as a rental can be.

Summary: Fantastic hostess, spacious accommodations, the biggest television in Bradley Beach, a massive wrap around porch with great views and a phenomenal location! Linda was super easy to work with and very helpful with all questions. Short walk to the beach with beach passes included & short walk to numerous fantastic restaurants in Avon & Bradley and a short bike ride to Asbury. Cold a/c or a great breeze from the beach. Loved spending time in Bradley at this lovely home! Many thanks Linda!

Summary: Our grown children live in various parts of the US and getting them together at least once a year is a top priority for us. Linda's home is the perfect place for a large family gathering as the home is very spacious. The kitchen and dining room were great for family meals and there was more than enough bedroom space. The living room was very spacious and allowed the family to all gather to play charades or watch a movie on the large screen TV. We all agreed however that the large wrap around porch and the proximity to the beach were the best features .

Summary: This home was very clean and obviously well cared for with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Easy walk to beach and town. The owner is pleasant and extremely helpful. If we could have stayed for two weeks I would have. We enjoyed our week here very, very much.

Summary: Great house with plenty of room for a big crowd. Kitchen with huge breakfast bar was a plus and we ate many meals on the wraparound porch. Lots of bedrooms and the beds were comfortable. Linda was very responsive to any questions we had. Looking forward to staying there again!

Summary: My family and I stayed in this house for a week and had the best time. The house is a good size, lots of space and multiple bathrooms is nice. The house could not be in a better location, you had a view of the ocean and the lake. My favorite place in the house was sitting on the large, wrap around porch (there were 2 tables and plenty of chairs). The house came with beach chairs, umbrellas, kitchen supplies, which was so nice because it was one less thing to have to pack. Kitchen has been renovated recently, and is a great size. The home owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it for any family.

Summary: We stayed here in October for a week and were so happy with the home and our stay! The pictures are beautiful...but hardly compare to actually being here. Everything you could possibly want was available in the home, including board games, wifi, and a spectacular location. The house is very clean and extremely comfortable! The owner had everything set up upon arrival and was easy to contact if we had a question. It is located minutes from the beach and from the patio, you can see the lake across the way...."amazing"! Taking a walk to the beach and jogging in the morning after coffee was such a great experience! Very nice neighborhood, quiet and lush! I would definately recommend this home for anyone who is intersted in taking a very relaxing vacation and enjoying your time away from home!

Summary: So much more than we bargained for! To attend my brother's wedding in nearby Ocean Grove, my husband and I were charged with taking care of my elderly mom, who was also bringing an old family friend, so we felt a house would provide for their needs far better than a hotel or B&B. This house was absolutely perfect! Home is HUGE, 3000 square feet, with 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, so we had my sister and her husband stay with us as well--along with several other wedding guests who we convinced to spend the night rather than drive home after the reception. In fact, the reception ended early--and having to vacate the hall at 7pm, many guests had not seen each other in years, so we invited them back to our rental house, where we were able to seat and entertain a good 30+ people in comfort and style! This house is well equipped for entertaining, from stacking chairs (a good extra 20)to all kinds of card and board games! There is a sectional sofa, a pull-out sofa and a futon. Large dining room with table that seats 8-10 and 2nd table in expansive kitchen that is larger than most livingrooms, fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, dishes, pots, pans, and every imaginable accessory! Impressive entrance with wrap-around porch, flanked by 2 stone lions. 1/2 bath downstairs, great for guests, and 2 full bathrooms upstairs--one is a "walk through" adjoining 2 of the bedrooms. The bedrooms are huge--one with a king-sized bed, 1 with a queen, overlooking the ocean, and the other 2 bedrooms each have not only a queen bed, but an extra twin bed as well. Beautiful, well-lit laundry room on first floor with large capacity washer and dryer. Cable TV is provided with about 60 different channels, along with VCR and DVD players--there are even some movies! Home is equipped with tons of extra towels and bedding, vaccum, mops, and all the cleaning supplies you could possibly want. Upstairs furniture and carpeting is a little dated, but nice and very appropriate for home. So nice, that in the week we stayed there after the the wedding, several of the guests returned to spend a few days with us. This house actually cost much less than having to rent several hotel rooms, and we got so much more! Highly recommended!
