Summary: Allure Cottage was perfect. It was exceptionally equipped, had a gorgeous view of the townsite and shoreline, and perfectly situated to the downtown core of Paihia. John and Ruth were excellent hosts. 5 star for everything.

Summary: Everything was perfect! The view was amazing and the location was perfect. We came in the winter, but I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to sit out on the deck in the warm summer months.

Summary: This spot was perfect for our family (2 adults and a 5 year old). Very close to everything but removed enough that it was peaceful. We enjoyed a bottle of wine on the deck at sunset and had everything we needed. The hosts were so friendly, responded quickly to messages, and accommodating. They checked in a few times to make sure everything was good, but overall gave us lots of privacy. They went out of their way help with our laundry so we didn’t loose any time exploring the area. We would absolutely recommend staying here and wish we could have stayed longer!

Summary: We had booked the cottage but somehow the system allowed it to be double booked. The host was accomodating and gave us the "apartment" at no extra cost. Had we known it was a suite under their house, could hear every movement upstairs and stank of cat urine (huge wet area at front entrance with air purifier going when we arrived), we would have declined. Paihia was great but somewhat ruined by the accommodation.
