Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Panorama Heights. The property was perfect, very well equipped and very comfortable. Murray and Pam were great hosts. They welcomed us at the door and briefly showed the property. They were really helpful with ideas and tips as what to do, where to eat, etc. They checked in with us on email but otherwise gave us total privacy. Paihia was a great base to see the bay of islands. Panorama Heights surpassed our expectations as did the amazing views from dawn til dusk on the patio.
Negative: The steep hill climb (on pavement) walking back from town but an easy trade for the amazing views (and we could have always used the car 🤣)

Positive: Greeted by the hosts, they were so welcoming and showed us around the apartment. They provided lots of extras, bottle of wine, chocolate and biscuits, as well as the usual milk, tea bags etc. Easy to spend time relaxing gazing out at the amazing views.
Negative: Bed a bit too soft but that is a very personal opinion, otherwise nothing. It was a lovely stay.
Summary: Super apartment, lovely hosts, amazing views.

Positive: Everything! The accommodation is perfect in a superb location overlooking the bay. It is Immaculately clean and well furnished, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Basic essentials were provided as well as breakfast cereal, milk, tea & coffee, biscuits and even a bottle of wine. Murray & Pam are the perfect hosts and were on hand with tips/advice during our stay. It's a great base for exploring the Bay of Islands, Paihia itself is a lovely little town, we took the car ferry to Russell and a boat trip from Paihia to the hole in the rock and went to Kerikeri to see the waterfalls. It really is the perfect place if you just want to chill out; we loved watching the sun come up each morning; a stunning view.
Negative: Nothing, it was perfect.

Positive: We spent four lovely days at Panorama Heights. The large light filled apartment has a view from the verandah and every window. The lounge area is tastefully decorated with two comfortable couches and lots of homely touches. The 1960s-ish kitchen and bathroom have been refurbished and are in immaculate condition. Love the extras like a bottle of wine and fluffy white bathrobes.
Negative: The bed could have been more supportive, but loved the firm pillow. The wi-fi could occasionally be patchy.

Positive: The hosts were very welcoming, the apartment was very clean, exceptionally well equipped and the views were amazing. Communication was prompt and efficient. The grounds were immaculate.
Negative: The TV and the bed could do with an update. There was a washing machine which was great, but not a dryer.
