Positive: Front the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and accommodating. Facilities were fantastic, food options were delicious. Me who is in guest relations was efficient, going over and above to assist us Italian restaurant staff and food were delicious. Alma garden staff very friendly Reception on cocktail bar were lovely and always smiling. The property was kept in pristine condition and many workers were available Spa staff were lovely as was the sound healing session.

Negative: Could be more shade options by the pool either by artificial (sunshades) or natural (more trees) as you have a very hot climate. The wood on the walking areas is extremely hot, noticeable more at the splash park where you couldn't wear shoes in the lazy river and yet had to walk over the wood bridge - burnt feet. Also the stairs to the slides are metal and in the heat got quite warm - not great for little and older feet :-) Having to sign, and use wrist bands got confusing sometimes - I think signing for purchases is sufficient. Alma app didn't really allow to book anything so was just an information source. It would be nice if there were some local attractions close by, however didn't detract from our visit.

Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Alma Resort. Highly recommend.

Positive: Amazing resort, service is superb - all staff are very friendly and helpful. Our suite was great, clean and comfortable. Breakfast included was epic. Pools and beach also amazing.

Negative: We only had 24 hours - would have liked to stay longer!

Negative: More buggy needed due to huge hotel ground.

Negative: It was so windy whilst we were there that it made it impossible to enjoy the beach and on occasion the pools. The weather is of course no reflection on the hotel, but it was a wild wind and made it uncomfortable at times. Pools were too cold.

Positive: Excellent beach front, clean and spacious Villa. Very attentive staff, in particular Ms. Yen at the breakfast buffet venue. Good variety of food offers on buffet. Nice pool and good water park for kids. Great place for a family getaway weekend or short holiday. Check in was smooth and very efficient with the support of Mr. Niem, guest relations staff.

Negative: Some room for improvements on quality of morning bakery items and the Italian outlet, including wine list.

Summary: Excellent resort for a family getaway, clean and spacious Villas and good service!
