Each of our three very spacious apartments with private terrace has sea and mountain views and is beautifully and comfortably furnished in a tasteful style. Modern and very well equipped kitchens and bathrooms. Of course, there is air conditioning and well functioning heating. The pool (11.60 m x 6.50 m) and the beautiful, large beaches invite you to swim. The terrace with barbecue has an amazing view on the surrounding landscape. There is a large, closed and secured space to park your car. Everything else is within less than 3.5 km: bars, restaurants, taverns, shops, car and bicycle rental, supermarkets, wellness salons, doctors and pharmacies. The beach with taverns is only 1.5 km away. Very recommendable for day trips are the archaeological sites of Mycenae, Argos or the theatre of Epidaurus. Also Nafplio with its citadel, shops, cafés, restaurants, streets and squares is well worth a visit.

Summary: Over the past years we have rented places like this several times in both Spain, France, Italy and this time Greece. Alphavilla is number one of them with regards to the house and its interior, the pool and the view. Everything was in perfect condition and any problem would be solved immediately. And the view - nothing beats a glass of rosé wine and a book on the porch or by the pool with that view! Règine et Thierry speak a wonderful mix of french, german and english which allowed everyone in the family to communicate (we are danish). Thierry waited for us in Port Heli to show the way to the house, which would not have been possible without him. On the way to the house he showed us the supermarket, the bakery etc. which was an advantage in the following days. In the house Thierry and Règine welcomed us with appetizers and interesting stories about their lives before and after Greece. And we enjoyed not having to go to the bakery the first morning with their freshly baked bread and the things bought for us in the fridge. Very nice! Port Heli is a nice small town which has it all except the hassle from loads of tourists etc. Love the ice cream at the bakery! There is some driving to the bigger tourist sites though. But the roads are in good condition and Google Maps gives reliable time estimates. We will recommend going to Epidavros and Nafplio and - as somewhat of a hidden and surprising gem - the craters in Didima, which we had all to ourselves... woaw! At the Didima taverna you can literally only choose between the two things mummy made for lunch that day. But she did it well:-) Best regards Silja (16), Konrad (16), Søren and Eva (45), Denmark.
