Summary: I stayed here one night in September of 2022 and enjoyed it, but this time was very different. Booked 2 nights for easy access to RMNP and though the sign outside states it is "newly renovated" we must have gotten a room that wasn't done yet. Poorly decorated, and though the bed was comfortable, there were four tiny, flimsy pillows on the bed. The sheets have seen better days for sure (not even sure if the were clean), the bathroom sink is in the main area with very little space, you had to push the handle on the toilet at least twice for it to flush, and the shower faucet was loose, so when you pulled up on it for the shower, it came away from the tub. We used the microwave and the fuse blew after 30 seconds, the glass on the sliding door to the tiny balcony obviouskh hadnt been cleaned in a bit - it was nothing lije the last visit. Easy access to the park and Bear Lake corridor made it worth it, but wouldnt stay here agin.

Summary: The price was high for the place. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. Though it was relatively clean, there were long black hairs on the bathroom floor. Our room on the second night was $185-$190 for one night and it was extremely tiny with no ice, no coffee machine. I know Estes is expensive, but not worth the price in my opinion.

Summary: We stayed in Room 135 upgraded balcony room. It was a corner room and the window facing West had a broken shade covering the window that did not block the bright lights of the hotel left on at night. Our whole room was lit up during the night. I finally got up and hung a large bath towel over the shade to help minimize incoming light. The air conditioner in the room had a horrendous flapping noise going on when running to the point we could not hear each other talk. We had to shut the air conditioner off to try and sleep and the room got up to 74 degrees. Then to top if off, at 7:00 in the morning a gentleman put in a door code and opened our door and stepped in and then immediately closed the door. Our friends next door in room 136 had the same gentleman open their door and step in and then close the door. I got up after our door opened and saw him and asked could I help hem and he said he was the assistant manager and apologized for opening the door. What the Heck!!!
